"Where are Renjun and Jeno?" Jaemin asked while he kept on following the blonde haired vampire that turned out to be Jeno's best friend. He was confused and tired, but at least Donghyuck managed to get him some medicine so his powers were slowly coming back to normal. They were inside a dark tunnel beneath the castle and something told the prince he wasn't going to see the two. He wanted to tell Renjun he wasn't mad at him, but he did need some explanations from the older. And Jeno also promised to get him out, but Jaemin had to admit he was disappointed it wasn't the brunette himself who took him out. He wanted to be saved by him, but he hoped in vain. "Well?" He asked again since Donghyuck didn't reply. 

"Sorry. They're dealing with some stuff right now." The blonde haired vampire replied, without actually looking behind at Jaemin. "Look, Jeno said he's sorry for not coming as well, but his parents are already crazy enough. Not even Jungwoo knows I'm taking you out of here." 

"What?" For some reason Jaemin was shocked. He knew he would escape in secret but again, that uneasy feeling came back. "What would happen if..." 

"Don't think of it." Donghyuck interrupted him and for the first time in minutes, he glanced behind. His eyes were golden, but they were cold as ice. "Sungchan is going to take you back to school." 

"Wait what?" After hearing that, Jaemin stopped in the middle of the tunnel. It made the older stop as well and turn around. "H-How does he? What the fuck is going on?"

The prince suddenly felt angry. How come Jeno never told him that his close friend knew he went there? Did that mean that Miss Kim also knew? Then he was fucked. 

Donghyuck stepped closer to him and crossed his arms above his chest. "He will take you back to the school. You will tell Miss Kim we kidnapped you and that Jeno is from the other dynasty along with me and Renjun. You won't see us for a while so please don't do something stupid. Our people will want you dead soon too because Jeno's parents are most probably dead by now. We want to get you out of our territory before our people find out. You will be their killer and again, Jeno apologizes for this. Now please follow me and let's get you out of here before it's too late." As he said that, Donghyuck grabbed his arm roughly and pushed him forward. "Move." 

Jaemin was at a loss of words. He didn't know what to say. Everything confused him so much that it gave him a headache. Jeno killed his parents? That was his whole reason for going back home? And what about Renjun? Did he switch sides with the prince? And then again, why would he be blamed for something he didn't even do? 

"How do you know Sungchan didn't tell anyone yet? He could have told Jisung or someone else." Jaemin suddenly told the shorter vampire that was walking in his left. Donghyuck just chuckled and ran a hand through his hair. "What's so funny?" 

"Because I told him that if he says something before he gets you then I will kill you without mercy." Their eyes met and Jaemin recognized both the excitement and anger in his golden eyes. "You won't be fully recovered until you're back home where you belong." 

"Fuck you." Jaemin cursed before pursing his lips. "Why does it have to be me tough?" 

"Are you dumb?" The blonde haired asked. "No one will ever believe that the prince himself murdered his parents to take his revenge. It's more believable to say the enemy did it. He hoped you won't hate him because he has a reason for doing that." 

Jaemin scoffed and rolled his eyes. "A reason? He could have told me his whole plan before coming here. That's why we were roommates." He had to admit it, he was more than disappointed. He thought that after the confession Jeno would slightly change for him, but again, those words came back to him and hit him hard across the face. We're not meant for each other.
