I know I didn't emphasize too much on the relationship yet, but I want to make the characters real that's why it's taking so long:)). I don't want them to have no personality and no background, that's why I decided to emphasize more on their individual story and personality for now rather than on their relationship. I feel like there is still time for it since this is gonna be a 50+ chapters story.

Renjun was actually a half-breed before, which meant he wasn't that special. He never asked his parents about their love story, but one thing that he knew was the fact that his parents loved each other. His mom was the vampire and after Renjun turned five years old, she turned her husband into one as well, so they could live their forever lives together. The boy realized what she had in mind for him as well when he was be older, and that was to turn him into a full vampire as well. But that never happened. 

He came from a normal family of vampires and after he graduated kindergarten, he and his family moved to a new town where only vampires lived. That's where he started being avoided for being half human. For all he can remember, Renjun could admit he was angry that he wasn't a full vampire and he always hated his parents for that, especially his father. Why would his mom turn him and not his son into a vampire? It made no sense to him when he was a kid, but he understood it when it was way too late. 

Since he was around ten years old, Renjun wanted to change his own life alone. He wanted power, he wanted recognition and mostly, he wanted to be a full vampire. But he didn't receive any of his desires until he was thirteen, when he killed his parents with cold blood. It was the middle of the day and Renjun refused to go to school so he wandered the town alone in the rain. He decided to go home around 1 PM because he was soaking wet and he was freezing. One thing that he remembered was the shocked face his mom gave him when he stepped inside the house. 

"What are you doing home so early and why are you wet?" The woman asked as she rushed to the young boy. Still, Renjun pushed her away and slammed his backpack to the ground. 

"As if you care." He hissed and was about to approach the stair case when a soft hand grabbed his arm. His eyes met his mom's red ones. "Let go of me." The boy cried and tried to push her away, but he failed. 

"Who gave you the right to speak like that to me? Did I raise you like this?" She shouted at him, for the first time in her life, which kind of frightened Renjun. Still, the boy knew she didn't care about him. If she did, then she would have done something about him being bullied at school for being a half-breed. "What happened to you, child?" The woman crouched in front of him and cupped his face with her pale and cold eyes. "Who hurt you?" 

Renjun blinked the tears away. Who hurt him? That life did. 

"Being a half-breed." The boy spit the words and pushed her with force since she was being soft to him. "Why did you have to forget about me? You turned dad into one but why not me? Am I not important?" The boy shouted and he saw that her eyes were filled with surprise and sadness. "All my classmates want me dead? Why don't you?" 

"I-I'm your mom. Why would I want you dead Renjun?" 

The boy chuckled as he backed away. "Because I'm not a full vampire." He wiped away the tears and entered the kitchen. "Because I'm weak and stupid and I can't do one thing right in this stupid life!" He shouted the words and approached the island from the middle of the kitchen with quick steps.   

"Renjun, being a half-breed is not a bad thing! Besides, why would you want to be like us?" 

"Why?" Renjun asked in disbelief. "Why?" He asked again but louder. The only power he had was that he could change the color of his eyes, so when he looked back at his mom, he looked at her with those eyes. The eyes of a weak vampire. "I want to be powerful not a loser. This makes me look more than a loser."
