Jeno approached Mark and Chenle when he spotted the two mortals walking towards the school. An innocent smile formed his lips while he sped up a bit to reach the two.

"Hey." The brunette spoke to get their attention and when the two guys finally realized his presence, they stopped. Mark showed a smile while Chenle waved at him. "You're going to class, right?"

"Yes." The blonde haired young man replied after they started walking again. The weather was really nice that morning, with the sun shining above their heads with warmth. There weren't even clouds on the blue sky, which told them that it will get warmer soon. "How's the book?" Mark asked with curiosity as he remembered about that old book Jeno borrowed the other day.

The young vampire looked away from his new friends, at some bloomed trees. He didn't take that book to read it, since he already knew what was written in it. He took it to see which students were the vampires from the other dynasty. So being the great actor he was, Jeno smiled with excitement.

"It's really cool. I told you I love these kind of stuff, so I'm really enjoying it. Some people do have imagination." Jeno glanced at Mark, whose smile grew more while he nodded. If only he knew, the brunette thought to himself. A normal human shouldn't read those kind of books, because it only made them realize the truth that they were trying so much to hide. His parents always told him to be careful, because there were all types of vampire hunters around the world and the fact that this school had the courage to have real books about vampires in its library made Jeno's blood boil. Because of The Sun Dynasty, his own family almost got killed and because of them, some people found out the truth. The last thing he wanted was for the whole world to realize that vampires weren't fictional characters.

On their way inside the school, Mark explained him some stuff that would appear later in the book. It shocked Jeno to see how much that blonde guy knew, but at least Chenle was there to tell him it was all fiction. At least the younger believed it, which was great. Following the two up the marble stairs, Jeno looked around. Many students were walking towards their classes, but not even one was a vampire.

What made the young vampire fear was the principal. From the first sight, he knew she was a vampire that served The Sun Dynasty and now that he no longer used the soft scented perfume that used to cover him, he was already waiting to be called by that pale yet beautiful woman. They couldn't tell if he was from The Moon Dynasty if Jaemin wouldn't tell them about his necklace, but if he would try to do so, Jeno would make sure to stop him. Until he would be found as a member from the rival dynasty he was safe.

Following the two inside the noisy classroom, Jeno finally snapped out of his thoughts. He went to his seat next to Mark's and dropped his backpack on the desk. His eyes quickly landed on Jaemin's figure. The raven haired vampire was already in his seat, but his eyes were fixed on him which made Jeno smirk with superiority. The fact that he scared the hell out of him brought the young vampire pleasure. This is what he should get, for being his rival.

While he sat down and ignored Jaemin, who was still staring at him, Jeno took out a book and waited patiently for the teacher to come. Mister Moon had his first lesson that morning with them, but when he entered the classroom, the brunette was sure that the short man flinched. His eyes scanned the classroom quickly until they landed on Jeno, who just blinked with innocence. Well he didn't so anything wrong after all.

"Good morning class." The man finally said and looked away from him. "Starting from today we'll be working in groups for the next two marks."

Some students groaned which made Jeno frown. Why no one liked group projects when they were so fun? Well, for him it was fun since he always manipulated his partner. This is also the main reason his poor classmates died. It wasn't their choice to commit suicide, it was his.

"I will be making the groups." Mister Moon announced again. Jeno watched as he sent Jaemin a deadly glare before his fists clenched and he pretended that nothing happened just now. He was so obvious, Jeno thought as he tried to hide the smile that was slowly forming his lips.

By the end of the class, the groups were made and a wave of excitement hit Jeno when he found out he would be in the same group as Jaemin and Renjun. Those two had a really interesting relationship from the start which made him way too curious for his own good. He wanted to go to his roommate and annoy him a bit, but a cold hand wrapped itself around his wrist, startling the brown haired vampire.

"Follow me." Mister Moon glared at him before taking his cold hand off. "Now." He then hissed and started making his way outside the classroom.

Glancing one more time at Jaemin, who showed a proud smile, Jeno followed the short man out of the classroom. He already knew where they were going, so he made sure to take off his necklace and hide it in the pocket of his pants when the vampire didn't glance behind, to make sure he was still following.

When they reached the ground floor, which was way more quieter than the others, Jeno followed the teacher on the corridor that led them to the principal's office. His fists were clenched really tightly and Jeno wondered why didn't his claws appear already, cutting through his flesh.

Mister Moon stopped in front of the pair of massive doors and after knocking softly, he opened them both, revealing the same spacious office Miss Kim Owned. As expected, the principal was at her desk, reading something in a book, but when she looked above her reading glasses, she tilted her head and frowned.

"Did something happen so early after your arrival?" Miss Kim asked while she glanced at the teacher that brought him there.

"He has something to tell you ma'am." Mister Moon slightly pushed Jeno forward and closed the doors. "Speak."

"I-I..." Jeno pretended to be clueless, but when the principal raised her hand and completely changed her facial expressions, the young vampire knew she realized it.

"How did you hide yourself so good?" Miss Kim stood up and surrounded her desk, then proceeded to approach the younger. "I didn't even notice." She mumbled when she reached him and looked up, since Jeno was way taller than she was. As expected, she slightly pushed the collar of his shirt, to see if he was hiding any necklace "Which dynasty do you serve?" Miss Kim hissed and her eyes turned in red.

"What dynasty do you serve?" Jeno asked instead of replying and heard mister Moon growl next to him. A smirk formed his lips. "Well?"

Miss Kim chuckled. "You're smart." Then she gave him a glare. "We all know that those who serve The Moon Dynasty are sinners so if you would have served it, you would have been way more careful. Am I right?"

Despite making his blood boil, Jeno had to act so he gave her a evil smile. "Of course. They are the real devils after all." He bowed his head and backed away from her. "I have a class starting soon." Jeno didn't wait for a reply as he was already exiting the the office when a hand stopped him. When he turned around he saw the principal next to him.

"You will attend the afternoon classes from now on, also, tell Jaemin to pay me a visit after the second class." She told the brunette.

"Okay." Jeno bowed again and turned around. A small smile formed his lips while he exited the corridor and started walking up the stairs, towards the fourth floor.
