Jaemin stormed inside the room and slammed the door shut behind him. He scanned the whole place; a king sized bed, white cabinets, a white desk with some books and candles, a grey sofa, a white library of books and a white closet. Still, he saw no one inside for a while. Where was he? The prince thought and started walking around the room. 

"Hey Sungchan?" He decided to ask and right when he stopped in front of the closed door of the bathroom, he spotted the steam coming from underneath the door. "When you're done can we talk?" He asked again, seeing that no reply came from the room. 

"Is that you Jaemin?" Finally, his friend's voice asked. 

"Yeah."  

"Oh shit, give me five minutes." The younger mumbled from inside in a hurry. Jaemin could hear some shifting from inside along with the water being turned off. Still, he did not move at all from his spot right in front of the door. 

He was angry, because his own friend betrayed him for his mom. Was this how little their friendship meant to him? Because if it did, then Jaemin shouldn't have trusted him at all. He shouldn't have trusted the people from his own dynasty at all. It was sad, he knew it too, but it was the truth. The only person he trusted was his own sister. 

"Hey, sorry for making you wait." Sungchan finally stepped out of the steamy bathroom wearing some sweatpants only. His hair was wet and he had a small smile on his face. He didn't care at all, Jaemin realized and took out his claws. His action made the tall vampire flinch. "What's wrong with you?" 

"I trusted you." Jaemin glared at him and stepped forward, until his friend was glued to the wall behind. "I really did." A smirk formed his lips as he grabbed his chin and made Sungchan look at him. He knew pretty well that the vampire couldn't hurt him because he wasn't that powerful. The worst thing he could do was to scratch him badly. "Why did you tell her?"   

"Tell who?" Sungchan played clueless which angered Jaemin more so he grabbed him by his neck and started chocking him. "Jaemin what the fuck?" 

"Why did you tell my mom about everything?" The prince yelled and pierced his skin with his claws. "I trusted you! I thought we were friends! I thought you came after me because we were friends!" He then roughly let go of him and backed away. Sungchan fell on the floor and gasped for air loudly before he looked back at him. "Why?" 

"What you were doing was not right. Miss Kim had no reason being played like that and you have no reason to befriend the enemy." Sungchan coughed and looked away from him. "I told her because I knew you wouldn't be safe if this bullshit continued. I care for you Jaemin, that's why I'm doing this. That's why I did it." He sighed and stood up. His dark eyes landed on Jaemin. "I did it because I'm your friend." 

"You did it to make my mom want revenge. You know what you did actually?" Jaemin stepped closer again. He held the eye contact. "You just dug our graves." Sungchan frowned in confusion which made Jaemin chuckle. "That's right. She won't stay still now because she's a crazy woman. My dad is asleep because of her after all. She cursed him so she would rule over this dynasty. You are a tiny ant for her and if I switch sides, who will be at blame?" 

"Don't do this Jaemin." Sungchan shook his head. He attempted to grab his shoulders, but the prince just backed away roughly. "You can't be serious." 

"I am serious." The raven haired hissed and glanced at the door of his room. By now, Jieun was already on the other side. "Good luck because from now on, you're on your own." As he said that, he turned around on his heel and started walking away from the vampire that he could no longer call a friend. 

"Jaemin!" Sungchan yelled, his voice ringing in his ears. "You are doing the wrong thing!" 

The prince pushed the door open, without looking behind. He had no time and energy to spare anymore, so when he spotted his sister's blonde hair in the hallway, a small smile formed his lips. The only person he trusted from his family was her, because he knew that Jieun would never betray him. No wonder she was the only one whom he trusted from his childhood days.
