Jeno left the library before Donghyuck because he didn't want to risk being seen by someone. He stormed out of the main building and stopped right at the bottom of the marble staircase. The young vampire clenched his fists as he looked around. The whole yard was filled with darkness since it was already 8 PM. Few stars splashed the dark blue sky since there were some clouds around that hid the others.

"Shouldn't you be dining with the others?" A soft voice asked from behind, startling Jeno to the point he jumped a bit. When he turned around, he was welcomed by Miss's Kim pale face. "The classes were over one hour ago. What were you still doing here all alone?" The slim woman approached him, while her eyes scanned the younger from head to toe. Jeno immediately realized what she was doing.

It was a bit weird to see a student in a school all alone after all classes were done and she was suspecting him already. He waited a bit and thought of a reply. That woman was dangerous, the younger vampire thought, really dangerous and her position as principal at that school wasn't a coincidence.

"I was looking for a book in the library for my English class. I didn't find it though and when I realized how much I stayed in the library I told myself I should probably go and eat dinner." Jeno showed an innocent smile as he glanced a bit at his collarbones, making sure the necklace he was wearing wasn't visible. "You're also a Silver Demon right?" He dared to ask the woman. She already gave a really dangerous aura so he had to make sure who he was dealing with.

"Yes. I'm one of the purest ones actually, but keep it to yourself please." She showed a cold smile as she looked around. That smile then faded away when her golden eyes met Jeno's. "Did you perhaps give Renjun blood or something? He looks different from the other days and it's obvious that someone gave him vampire blood."

Her statement made Jeno lose his words a bit. Still, he had to act as if he didn't know anything so the young vampire just shrugged his shoulders. "I'm not that close with him. We barely talk so I couldn't have gave him blood."

"I see." Miss Kim nodded before smiling again. "Go eat your dinner. We need to be as normal as we can, especially now that the police decided to continue the case with that student who died when you came."

"Didn't they close the case?"

The vampire shook her head. "A detective came today and he told me they'll open it again. So from now on, tell Jaemin as well, to be careful around this place. There might be vampire hunters coming inside sooner than we thought."

"Okay." Jeno bowed his head with respect and showed a shy smile. "Have a nice evening." He told the woman before turning around and walking away from her. His eyes soon drifted away from the ground, onto the roof of the building, where he spotted the silhouette of a boy his age, walking on it with ease. Donghyuck, the brunette thought and looked away, making his way to the dorm in silence.

When he finally entered the modern looking building, the scent of food filled his nose. They were getting something good this evening and a smile formed his lips. Without thinking twice, the vampire entered the cafeteria and looked for two boys. He immediately spotted Chenle and Mark at a table, talking about something, but when the raven haired noticed him, he showed a smile and waved his pale hand.

Jeno suddenly felt anxious, but he also smiled in return to not get suspicious. He took the tray with food and when he reached the table, he placed it on the cold surface and sat down across from the two.

"What were you two talking about? It seemed to be an interesting conversation from afar." Jeno asked and threw a strawberry in his mouth. The sweet flavor attacked his tongue and the vampire had to admit, he missed eating strawberries.
