Almost two days passed since the night Jeno agreed to accept Jaemin's so called friendship. He knew from the start that they won't ever be real friends, but in order not to get exposed as a member of the moon dynasty he had to. He didn't fight with his roommate at all since that night and Jeno had to say, he felt bored because he couldn't hurt him and scare him. 

"The police is coming this evening." Mister Moon announced to the class of twenty vampires that afternoon. Jeno found himself slowly drifting back to sleep, because he was a bit tired since he didn't sleep last night that well. "We will have to be really cautious." The short man growled and punched the blackboard with anger. "Why did they have to open the case again?" 

"Maybe they have a vampire undercover in the police who's from the other dynasty." Jaemin suddenly suggested, startling Jeno with his words. The brunette slowly looked at his roommate. He tried his best to look as normal as he could so that no one would notice his fear and shock. Well, someone did notice, but luckily, it was Donghyuck, who was sitting next to Renjun on the row next to the window. The blonde haired vampire seemed anxious all of a sudden. 

"A vampire from the other dynasty?" Mister Moon asked furrowing his brows. "If that's the case, then they should reconsider coming here."

Some of his classmates nodded in agreement and started whispering around. Of course they were angered by this thought and Jeno really hoped that no vampire from his dynasty was coming that evening. His eyes landed on Jaemin again, who surprisingly was also looking at him. He had a small smile forming his lips, as if he knew that what he just did scared Jeno. 

"You can't say I can't be right." His roommate whispered and leaned closer so no one would hear them. "One of your people might be coming. It's normal for me to think that after all, right?" 

"Fuck you." Jeno hissed and slightly pushed him away. "No one is coming." He whispered back and crossed his arms over his chest, leaning back into the chair. He couldn't focus at all on the class, since his thoughts wandered different places. The last thing he wanted was someone he knew to show up that evening. Things could become messier and dangerous and it brought the vampire a wave of fear. 

When the sun was slowly disappearing, letting the darkness softly fall upon the world, mister Moon suddenly stopped walking around the class since he received a phone call. The short man picked up and widened his eyes a bit. When he placed the phone back on the desk, his eyes landed on his students. 

"They are here." The vampire explained while a smirk formed his lips. "We'll continue tomorrow if it's possible and the police isn't going to wander the corridors. Class dismissed." As he said that, mister Moon quickly took his phone and the book he brought to the class and stormed out of there. 

This was it, Jeno thought and slowly stood up. His eyes met Donghyuck's, who just shook his head in a subtle way. 

Walking away from his best friend, Jeno reached the exit and stepped out on the dark corridor. The candles were already ignited, letting the students see something. He sighed heavily and ran a hand through his brown hair, when someone tapped his shoulder and got his attention. Jeno expected to see Jaemin, but when he turned around, he was met by Renjun. Donghyuck was trailing behind the short vampire and he showed a smile. 

"Hey." Jeno looked back at Renjun, who was already walking in his right. Donghyuck went in his left and just glared at Jaemin when the raven haired vampire walked pas them, followed by Jisung and Sungchan. His roommate didn't even glance at him. 

"I don't think anyone from the moon dynasty will come." Renjun suddenly said, making both Jeno and Donghyuck flinch. 

"What do you mean?" Donghyuck suddenly asked, covering the fact that he was also a member of the rival dynasty. Right, Renjun didn't tell anyone about Jeno's secret yet. The brown haired vampire suddenly seemed anxious next to Jeno and when the taller glanced at Donghyuck, he saw the blonde haired vampire smirking. He really was having fun. "Renjun, since when did you become close with the new guy?"
