Jeno was staring at the raven haired as he was walking around his new room. He seemed concerned, maybe because of his mother, but that was understandable. The brunette was sitting on the window sill, with the window being open so the fresh air from outside softly touched his back from behind. He decided to give Jaemin his own room, because he was sure he wouldn't want to share it with his sister.

"I'm glad Renjun is alive." The raven haired suddenly spoke as he sat down on his new bed, right on front of Jeno. His dark eyes looked up at him. "When my mom told me he was dead, I thought you did it because I knew you two didn't get along with each other that well." After hearing his words, the brunette didn't feel angry at all, but glad that the prince decided to be honest with him. "Did he also kill someone?"

"He didn't get the chance to." Jeno admitted and ran a hand through his hair. "My dad killed him before he could make his move. He was mad that he got betrayed by his spy because Renjun decided to help me not him and he didn't tell him anything that happened at the school. That's why Jungwoo was also really angry when he found out, but I will have to talk to him as well before it's too late. He knows what I've been through, so he should understand."

Jaemin nodded his head. "Do you feel bad about it?"

The young vampire held the eye contact with Jaemin for a long time before he finally managed to reply. "Not really. They deserved it."

"I see." Jaemin sighed heavily and looked away. "I realized I didn't move on from Renjun while I was home." He suddenly confessed and bit his lower lip. "I want him back to be honest."

Jeno chuckled as he stared at him. Of course he wanted that vampire back. If he fell for him after all that happened, it was hard to move on after a whole relationship with that crazy bastard.

"What's so funny?" Jaemin finally looked back at him.

"Nothing, really." Jeno shrugged his shoulders before shifting around so he could rest his back by the wall and hug his knees to his chest. "I just know you also like me a bit too much so you don't know who to chose. Am I right?" Jaemin scoffed and looked away again. His face softly turned pink and he was staring at his reflection into the mirror. "The prince who stole your heart while being roommates with you for a month. Can't believe I am the one. And also you told your sister about me. That's really nice of you."

"Will you stop?" The raven haired glared at him when he locked eyes with the brunette again. "I had to explain it to her a bit. She doesn't know more than the fact that we became friends."

"Yeah, sure, friends."

"Yes, friends." Jaemin repeated the words again which made Jeno pout.

"Can't believe I got friend zoned by the guy who liked me now." Jeno sighed dramatically and looked outside. A small smile formed his lips when he heard Jaemin get off the bed and approach the window. He sat down in front of him, his leg touching Jeno's knee. Their eyes met and they stood like that, staring at each other for a while without saying anything. "What?"

"Do you still think we're not meant to be?" The prince asked. It made Jeno suddenly turn serious. He didn't know what to say, because that evening, when he said it, he lied. He wanted to hide the fact that he started liking his enemy and he also wanted to make sure Jaemin wouldn't want him too much. "Because I think we are."

What the younger said made him chuckle.

"I'll be honest with you right here." Jeno took a deep breath before he continued. "I don't know."

"What do you mean?" Jaemin frowned in confusion.

"Look that night I said it because I knew we had no chance. We'll see after your mom is out of the picture." The brunette looked away from him again, and his eyes were looking back at the sky.
