Jaemin was woken up by someone banging their fists to the door. At first, being half asleep, he thought there was a storm outside, but as the loud sound didn't stop, he eventually woke up. Pushing the blanket away, Jaemin sat up and looked at the door in front. The person on the other side didn't stop knocking at it, which annoyed him. Why wasn't Jeno also waking up? As he asked himself that, the raven haired glanced at the bed that surprisingly, was empty. Did he leave somewhere? 

"Hey Jaemin! Open the door!" Someone suddenly yelled, bringing him back to reality. It took the vampire some moments to recognize the voice, but when he did, he quickly stood up and dragged his feet towards the door. He took the only key from the nail, sign that Jeno really was gone somewhere, and opened the door. 

"What's the mater?" Jaemin asked and rubbed his eyes and moved aside, so Renjun could enter his room. He closed the door and watched as the brunette dropped himself on Jeno's bad and buried his face in his palms. He started sobbing right after, which made Jaemin fully wake up and go to him. "Hey, what's wrong?" The raven haired sat down beside him and placed his hand on the vampire's back. He shouldn't act like this, but they agreed to be friends after all. "Renjun, what's the matter?" 

The brunette took a deep breath and wiped away some tears before he looked at Jaemin. For some reason, seeing his ex like that made the vampire's heart ache a bit. He still cared for that vampire after all that happened, because he knew that Renjun wasn't evil. 

"I-I just lost my best friend and I didn't know where to go and you were the only person I could think of." The brunette mumbled and rested his head on Jaemin's shoulder. Still, his reply made no sense to the vampire. What did he mean by that? "He lied to me the whole time." 

"About what?" Jaemin dared to ask after few moments of silence. 

"He's from the same dynasty as Jeno. They're close friends from what I've seen today. Jaemin you can't trust him." Renjun told him as he backed away a bit. With hesitation, the brunette held his hand, but Jaemin didn't push him away. He was a bit shocked, he couldn't say he wasn't, but he always knew Jeno might betray him after all. "H-He..." 

Renjun didn't get the chance to say anything more since the door was suddenly opened, revealing the tall vampire. Jeno slammed the door and threw the key on the nail and stopped when he saw the two. 

"Am I interrupting?" His eyes landed on Jaemin, who clenched his fist and stood up. "You seem angry. Did he tell you something interesting or something like that?" A smirk formed Jeno's lips. He waited for Jaemin to reach him and when the raven haired stopped inches away from him, he chuckled. "What?" 

"How much fun are you having right now?" Jaemin asked and allowed his claws to show up. He ran his fingers up Jeno's arm and rested his palm on the vampire's shoulder. He made sure his claws would pierce through his flesh. "You know, friends tell each other stuff. Why didn't you tell me that Donghyuck was your bestie?" 

Jeno's smirk grew wider as he ran a hand through Jaemin's soft hair. That action made the raven haired vampire feel attacked for some reason, because he never expected that to happened. He was already imagining how Jeno would beat the shit out of him for scratching him, but the brunette just seemed amused. 

"You never asked if I knew knew other vampires though." Jeno replied and just then, his smirk was gone and his hand grabbed Jaemin's wrist roughly, pulling it away from his shoulder. "Like I told him, I just want to take my revenge for what happened to my dynasty." 

"That's by kidnapping Jaemin of course." Renjun growled and showed his claws. His way of trying to act aggressive made Jeno chuckle. "I told you I'll end you. Just wait." 

"Yeah, I might as well live three lives until you'll end me." Jeno approached him and ruffled his hair. "Don't forget I fed you few days ago." He then caressed Renjun's cheek before he jumped on his bed. His way of behaving was still shocking to Jaemin, but he knew he had to get used to him really quickly. 

"You wanted to kidnap me?" The raven haired asked and bumped Renjun's shoulder so he could reach Jeno. "Are you mad?" 

"Don't tell me that wasn't your first thought as well. Like the prince kidnaping the other prince and bringing him to his parents. Wouldn't that be a great opportunity to gain fame?" The brunette chuckled and sat up. 

"You're mad I swear to God." Jaemin sighed and sat down next to him. His eyes landed on Renjun, who was still very angry because of his roommates presence inside the room. "Did he say anything else?" He asked his ex, but Renjun seemed to hide something. 

"He's not angry. He's just frustrated his plan of using me vanished." Jeno blinked with innocence and smiled like a kid, which made Jaemin wonder if he wasn't really mad in reality. Like maybe he had some issues he wanted to hide from others. "I told you. You can always expose me, but don't hope of killing me. You might as well end up dead in my place." 

"Hey!" Jaemin growled and gave him a glare. "You should kill yourself instead." 

"But that's not fun." Jeno pouted and threw himself on his back. "We can't kill ourselves anyway. I tried it twice." 

"He's not normal." Renjun dropped himself on Jaemin's bed and ruffled his hair in frustration. "Why would you do that in the first place?" 

"Do you really wanna know?" Jeno's eyes turned silver when he heard the question. He quickly sat up again and rested his chin on Jaemin's shoulder, startling the vampire a bit. "Well you see, I was raised inside a castle my whole life. My only friend was Donghyuck and sometimes Jungwoo would come by and visit me. I was bored so one day I hung myself by the ceiling. I ended up falling asleep and by the time a maid found me it was the second day. The second time I tried was actually few months ago, before I killed my classmates. I wanted to know how is it to cut yourself, but my veins healed in less than three seconds." After he was finished, Jeno blinked like a child who just saw some candies. 

"No wonder you became a crazy guy." Renjun replied, but Jaemin noticed how shocked he was as well. 

The raven haired vampire felt pity towards Jeno, because he was trapped almost his whole life in that castle. How could someone not go insane? He glanced in his left at Jeno, who was still resting his chin on his shoulder. He had a really proud smile forming his lips. Their eyes met and Jaemin could see for a few seconds emptiness in them. 

For some reason, Jaemin couldn't be angry that the brunette wanted to do something like that. It was understandable that after being locked up in a castle for your whole life you would go crazy in the end. But for another reason, he hoped he could help that vampire come back to his senses. 

Okay so change of plot. I want to make Jeno a bit crazy. I hope you don't mind it:))).
