Jeno left the room at midnight without a word. He left the raven haired there, in the middle of the shared room, all alone. Jaemin still couldn't believed what just happened. He was so sure that once he would be discovered by the other prince, Jeno might snap out and decide to leave for good, but in his surprise, the brunette wasn't at all bothered. Why did Jaemin fall for him though? He still didn't have an answer. He tried to hide the uneasy feeling he always got when he was in the vampire's presence by telling himself he just wanted to be friends with him, but deep down, Jaemin knew he didn't want only that.

We're not meant for each other...   Those words kept on coming back each moment. Yes, Jeno was right. They weren't meant for each other because they were enemies, but what if they would have never been? Would things be different?

Jaemin ruffled his hair in frustration and dropped himself on Jeno's bed. The sheets had his soft cologne which made the vampire's face heat up really quickly.

"What's wrong with me?" The raven haired asked himself and slapped himself before sitting up. "He's not meant for you and you're not meant for him. What's so difficult to understand?" Jaemin asked himself and ruffled his hair again, to the point his scalp was hurting. "If my parents would ever find out I fell for the enemy I'll be so dead." He cried the words and looked at an invisible spot on the wall in front of him. "I will be so dead." The prince mumbled and sighed loudly since he was the only one in the room.

Still, the image where his face and Jeno's were so close came back. It gave him butterflies in his stomach just as he thought about it. How his hand grabbed Jaemin's wrist.

"I really am weak." Jaemin chuckled before standing up and stretching his arms above his head. He had to get ready as well, since he had to be in the forest in about fifteen minutes. He still didn't know Jeno's real reason of wanting to go home so sudden, but he had a feeling that the vampire was about to do something really bad. Renjun was way too excited to go with him and if his ex was excited about something, then it contained someone dying or being hurt. "What's in your mind?" Jaemin asked no one as he threw a pink hoodie on him.

He quickly turned off the lights and approached the window. He opened it and looked down. It was kind of high since their room was located at the fifth floor from the building, but he knew how to fall without making any sound. He just hoped no one would see him from any of the windows. If he had the ability to become transparent like Donghyuck, he would gladly do it, but his power was only killing others without even moving. He was able to stop hearts just by hearing the beat in their bodies.

Jaemin grabbed the window sill and climbed on it. His hands were holding onto the windows and after he looked behind to make sure everything was at its place, he pushed himself away and jumped. The vampire met with the soft grass in about three seconds, but gladly, he landed on his feet.

The raven haired vampire dusted his jeans before he straightened his back and looked around. He glanced up at the windows, but no one seemed like standing by them. Most of them had no light coming from inside, sign that the students were either already asleep or gone home for the weekend.

Since everything was okay, Jaemin approached the tall and sharp ended fence and looked up. It was about three meters tall, but he already knew how to climb it so with not that much effort, he jumped over, on the other side where he was met by the dark forest.

Jaemin started walking through the tall trees without hesitation. He had to get to the small street, where he told Jeno he would appear. A part of him still hoped he wouldn't be kidnapped, but when Jeno told him that, the brunette looked a bit worried. He had a role to play, and that was playing with Jaemin till the end. The raven haired felt glad that Jeno decided to be honest and tell him everything. It made him trust him more. He should keep his promise then. He should get him out from wherever he was going to be locked in.
