This is also one I've seen done a lot, but I wanted to do my own take on it anyway. This will include more fluff, but sorry lol I like doing depressing fluff. Enjoy anyway :)

With the events of the past few days, Ahsoka wanted nothing more than to rest. To let the sweet release of sleep wash over her, and to fall into a blissful dream that she wouldn't have to interrupt, and yet here she lay awake. Her unofficial-official room on the Resolute was messy from the last time she had been there, and she didn't bother cleaning it before going to bed so she was laying awake with anxieties over Mortis as well as thinking about what she would trip on when she got up the next morning.

It was silent. Past midnight. Finally she was about to give in to the insomnia when she felt a familiar cold, tired presence wash over her; the dark side was near. First she thought there was a sith on board the ship, but before she could get up to warn her master she was put to sleep, falling into a vision.

"They are no longer your friends," The booming voice spoke. She could hear the clashing lightsabers, and the faint voice of her Master.

"No! They are always my friends, my brothers, I won't hurt them!" Ahsoka was determined to get the son out of her head, but she couldn't push away the darkness.

"Oh but child, you already are." He showed her what she was doing. How she had taken the dagger from Obi-Wan and how she was helping the monster that had hurt her. "Sleep well."

The next thing she saw was Anakin's shoulder as he hugged her small figure. "What's- going on?"

"Oh, not much. It's good to see you." Clearly, something had happened. But he was too happy to have her back to tell her the whole story.

She awoke with a start, gasping for air as if she had just come out of a horrible dream, which really she had. She thought she was safe until she felt a searing pain in her head and that horrible voice spoke again.

"The light can have you for now. The darkness follows those who walk in it's shade. You can't outrun it, not forever." She couldn't help it. That voice, that horrible voice, she screamed when it hit her and the pain became too much. It echoed through her quarters, reaching both Anakin and Obi-Wan who had sensed the disturbance in the force. When the two of them rushed in (almost tripping over a book thrown on the floor), Ahsoka was clutching her head, breathing heavy in the hopes that all of it was fake, that she had imagined all of it, and that she could go back to her life before this. But deep down she knew. She knew, that she'd never be the same.

"Snips! Ahsoka, it's okay, we're here. What happened?" Anakin kneeled down on the floor mat acting as her bed, Obi-Wan doing the same.

"The Son, he was inside my head, he told me-" She cut herself off to steal a glance at the two concerned faces. "He threatened me, told me I couldn't outrun the darkness." She let out a small, tear free sob at the though of his horrible, pale face staring her down, those dark eyes and red tear marks, the voice that would haunt her dreams.

"Is he still alive? Is he in you?" Obi-Wan asked her.

"I- I don't know."

"He's still part of the force, could he just get inside your head? Even if he's not physical anymore?" Anakin questioned.

"Maybe." Ahsoka let out a breath and tried to relax herself, letting the throbbing in her head slowly hade away and rubbing her arms where that creature had bit her. They all sat in silence for a few moments while Ahsoka caught her breath. Finally, she was a little more settled. "I hope I can get sleep after this." She joked.

"What if you come stayed with one of us tonight? As long as you're comfortable with that of course, I wouldn't want to make you uncomfortable." Anakin said, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. The last thing he wanted to do was make his sister more scared than she already was.

"No, I'd like that, master. Thank you." She gave a hint of a grin and stood up with the help of Obi-Wan's outstretched hand. He continued to take the sole blanket off the foam matt and roll it up.

"Here, why don't you take the blanket and I'll take the mat." Obi-Wan said. "To Anakin's room?"

Honestly Ahsoka was a little embarrassed by the sudden wave of affection as if she was a kid suffering from a stupid nightmare, but she needed the comfort and Anakin and Obi-Wan wouldn't take no for an answer. "Ya," She said, grabbing the blanket and wrapping it around herself. Lucky for her, his room was directly across from hers and they didn't have to pass anyone on the way. Likely it would be some clone working late on the Resolute that night, but it still would be embarrassing.

She set the mat out across the floor and threw the blanket over it before turning to her Master. Obi-Wan gave only an understanding nod before wishing them a good night and leaving to his own room. Anakin on the other hand sat on his bed and waited for her to join.

"I never told you what really happened on Mortis," He said when she sat down. "Not the full story at least."

"When I was turned, I fought you, right?" Although he hadn't told her that, really anything from the mission, she could gather from the vision that the sound was her lightsabers clashing with Anakin's. He nodded.

"You almost had me too, until Obi-Wan came to help. I'll never understand how you're so strong Snips, I'm surprised you don't beat me more often in sparring."

"Oh I do, you just don't want to admit it." Ahsoka nudged his shoulder when she made the joke. They both chuckled.

"Do you want to hear the full story? After that I just thought you might not want to-"

"No, I want to know. Please tell me."

"Well, when I found you, you were- gone, under his control, and we fought. Obi-Wan came to help and he had this dagger that was supposed to be able to kill the son, but you got it and gave it to him. He sort of, he, killed you." Ahsoka looked down at herself for a moment to try and find a stab wound. "No, not like that, he sort of just tapped you and you died. He was about to kill the father, but the daughter stepped in front of him. She was dying, and the Son flew off to who knows where, but her last act was to save you. To bring you back to life."

They both sat in silence for a few moments until Ahsoka nodded. That was their que. Ahsoka silently sat down on her makeshift bed. "Thank you for telling me." This time it was Anakin's turn to nod, and they both silently crawled into their beds.

"Sleep well, Snips."

"And you, master."

Okay I totally lost interest in this, I thought I was going to do more than just this but it kind of just... bleh

Here's the not so great first draft. Idk if I'll continue on this, maybe another day when I have more motivation lol

Have a good night/day/whatever and I'll see you when I see you :)
