K so Idk where this is going, I just knew I was going to injure a character, so I'm sorry, but we're hurting Ahsoka. Although, it's kinda expected of me at this point haha

This takes place before Season 3 Episode 10, where Ahsoka has a wardrobe change and adds on her second lightsaber.

Oh side note, we're at 1.5k views! Thank you guys 😊

Second side note, I did a word count of all my chapters so far (not including this one) and we're at just over 60,000 words!! This does count the authors notes which probably brings it down by a couple thousand, but it's still impressive. That's kinda crazy, and I also would have passed NaNoWriMo had I been writing towards a full novel haha. Oh, and NaNoWriMo, it means National Novel Writing Month.

ANyway, enjoy :)

Sure, she was a warrior, but wasn't she really still a kid? You could see it, once in a while, in the laughter from the barracks when she pranked the clones, the little Tauntaun plush hidden beneath Ahsoka's sheets, and the innocent smile she gave recovering clones in the medbay. You could see what she would have been like, had the war not happened. It wouldn't have taken her fifteen years to find out that her favorite ice-cream flavor was orange sherbet, she wouldn't have developed PTSD by the age of sixteen, she wouldn't have had to hide the scars across her stomach from blaster wounds and lightsaber slashes, she would have been okay.

Ahsoka was listening as closely as she could to the briefing, but her mind still wandered. Something about trying to focus made it so much harder to understand what Obi-Wan was saying, and she didn't realize she had spaced out until Anakin was waving in front of her face. "Coruscant to Ahsoka, you in there?" He said, chuckling. Obi-Wan stood across the holo-table from her, arms crossed with a smirk on his face.

"Sorry, masters, what were you saying?" She instantly snapped back to reality, embarrassed that she had let herself slip like that.

"We were trying to tell you that Grievous has been spotted on Ryloth, and that we're being sent out today." Anakin said, returning to his position at the holo-table. "We don't know much about what we're doing, but the two of us will be going to investigate. Are you up to it?"

"Absolutely," Ahsoka said, a confident smile on her face. Faked confidence, but no one caught that part.

She left that day with Anakin, nervous to be facing Grievous, but she had a feeling adrenaline would kick in when the time actually came. Walking off the ship, Ahsoka intertwined her fingers in nervousness. It was just her and Anakin searching the old building, with the few clones from the 501st staying behind on the ship, and if either of them were hurt there was a chance they'd have to leave the other behind to get help.

"Everything will be fine, Ahsoka," Anakin assured her, placing a hand on her shoulder. "For all we know, Grievous may not have even be here."

"I know, doesn't make me any less nervous though."

The duo entered the building, void of windows and artificial lighting, forcing them to ignite their lightsabers for some source of light. The blue and green hues gave them a few feet in advance to know what was coming, but the distinct sound of metal footsteps approaching made both of them flinch, and Ahsoka grab her second lightsaber. This was her first mission really using it, although she wasn't sure if it would help her or not.

"Clankers?" She asked, hopeful she wouldn't have to fight General Grievous again. The last time she fought him... Things didn't go so well.

"Grievous," Anakin whispered back, realizing that it wasn't a large amount of droids, rather the quick steps of one droid, which could only mean one thing... And it was confirmed by the mechanical coughing soon heard.
