Dude- we're at 70 chapters... That's kind of trippy. I'm pretty sure the max chapters is 200 but it's still pretty impressive.

Just add Ahsoka into that pig pile of clones, and creds to the og artist. This may be short, but it'll include Ahsoka and her big (/little? Advanced aging? Idk) brothers, which always makes me happy.

Enjoy :)

It was too dark for her liking. Waking up from a nightmare was awful on it's own, and the pitch black didn't help her nerves. Ahsoka would have gone to her master, as she often did after nightmares, situating herself between the mess of blankets and limbs on his bed, curling herself up under the warmth of his blankets, easing the pain from whatever nightmare had plagued her sleep. This time she was alone. Anakin and Obi-Wan had both left on a mission a few days before and she was left to her own devices, mostly trying to distract herself in her studies until her masters came home.

The first night she was okay- not great, but okay. Tonight however, she woke up in a cold sweat as she often did these days. That's what a war does to a person. In a split second decision she bolted out of bed and turned the light on in the hopes it would bring her comfort. It worked a little, but what she needed was the comfort of Anakin's bear hugs, or someone to sit up with her for a while. A few minutes later when her breathing hadn't slowed and there were still a few tears streaming from her cheeks, Ahsoka did what she was always told she should do at times like these, but had never actually tried: she made her way to the clone barracks.

Rex and Fives had both offered a spare bunk if she ever didn't want to sleep in the temple, and she had always brushed it off saying she'd never need to, or that the other Jedi wouldn't take kindly to it. But right now she didn't know what else to do.

Slipping on one of Anakin's undershirts so that she wouldn't walk into the clone barracks half naked, Ahsoka shut her light off and snuck out of the temple. Well, not so much snuck as 'pray none of the few Jedi still awake would rat her out if they saw her'. She didn't really try hard. The cold air nipped at her exposed legs but soon enough she found herself outside the 501st barracks' door. Taking a breath she punched in her code. The door opened with a swoosh to reveal a half lit room full of clones. Ahsoka sucked in a breath and twisted her hands together in front of her, scanning the room for Rex, or Fives, Jesse, anyone she trusted.

A voice came from the front of the room in a whisper-yell as to not wake up the rest of the room. "Ahsoka?" She was happy for whoever it was to drop the formalities. Glancing towards the direction of the voice she identified it as Rex who was sitting up in his bed, and upon further inspection spotted Kix and Fives also awake. "C'mere, vod'ika," He coaxed as he patted the spot next to him on the lower bunk. She silently obliged.

Kix hopped down from the bunk above as she walked over, and Fives from across the isle. When she had sat down she was pulled into a hug by Rex, Kix joining on one side and Fives slinking around behind them, all settling a hand on her shoulder or back to try and comfort her.

"What's going on, adiik, nightmare?" Fives asked in a quiet voice, not quite a whisper. Ahsoka nodded as she brushed another stray tear away.

"Wanna talk?" This time it was Kix. She hesitated. She gave a breath, interrupted by a small shudder. Feeling slightly more comfortable now she slumped her body in response, the rest of them knowing it wasn't worth trying to get her to tell them. "Here," Kix offered, urging Fives towards the edge of the bed and settling against the wall. He offered a small smile as she laid back. Her head rested nicely on his chest, and still feeling the panic of the nightmare she tried to match her breathing to his. Kix exaggerated his breathing a little when he noticed this. Realizing she was probably recovering from a panic attack his medic brain kicked in. "Want any water or anything? I can send Fives," He joked.

Ahsoka huffed slightly. "No thanks." She just snuggled closer. Within a few moments Rex and Fives were in on the hug, and with another five minutes or so Jesse and Hardcase joined the pile, and by morning even more of her brothers were slumped against the edge of the bed, sitting on the floor.

She couldn't ask for a better family, that was for sure.

Ahsoka and her big brothers just makes me so happy :') It's a couple hundred words short of what I usually write, but I figured if I tried to bulk it up it'd just look forced, so here's what I've got.

Have a good night/day/whatever and I'll see you when I see you :)
