I realized I've never done Padme meeting Ahsoka and now it's everything I need.

Next up will have to be Ahsoka when she finds out Padme and Anakin are married, bc you know she knew about them.

Set during the aftermath of the Malevolence arc

Enjoy :)

She'd never been on the Resolute before, not until this mission. Sure, she'd seen plans of the military ships she'd need to become accustomed to, in fact, she already mostly knew her way around.

Key word, mostly.

She'd somehow managed to loose her quarters. Ahsoka exited the bridge, deciding whether to ask a trooper (mild embarrassment), go back and ask Anakin (worse embarrassment) or just wander around the ship until she found it (likely horrible embarrassment when someone finds her). She didn't have to wait long to decide, however, because a moment later none other than Padme Amidala came down the hall to her left.

"Senator," She greeted, reaching out to shake her already outstretched hand. "It's good to meet you."

"Please, call me Padme. You're Anakin's Padawan, correct?"

She nodded. "Ahsoka."

"Well, it's good to meet you Ahsoka." She didn't let silence hit, not uttering a goodbye and walking away, instead staying next to her. "Where are you headed?"

She chuckled sheepishly. "Well, I was trying to get to my quarters but I haven't gotten used to the ship. I'm... A little lost," Ahsoka admitted.

The senator nodded back towards the hallway she had come from. "Well, I know where your master's quarters are, would that help?" Ahsoka didn't bother to ask why she knew where Anakin Skywalker's quarters on the Resolute were, only nodding enthusiastically.

"Yes! Mine are right next door."

"Then let me take you," She offered as she began walking back down the hallway she'd come from. Ahsoka realized there was no room for argument and followed awkwardly to her side, although grateful for someone nearer to her height. Being barely 5'3' on a ship full of people at least six feet tall was getting tiring. A few moments of silence later, Padme began speaking. Likely just small talk to avoid the quiet. "So, Ahsoka, how old are you?"

"Thirteen, but I turn fourteen next month," She offered. If Ahsoka wasn't a Jedi she would have missed the flicker of concern across her face before it was turned neutral again. She could be sure why, although it was probably something about her being a child in a war.

Padme nodded. "And you've been Master Skywalker's Padawan for how long?"

"Just about a month. We already get along great though, he's the only other Jedi I know who will willingly help me with physics homework," She joked. Padme had to laugh.

"That does sound like Anakin." First names? Well this was going to lead to a hilarious conversation with her master later. Who really was this woman and how did they know each other?

Well, no better time to ask, Ahsoka figured. "How do you know my master?" She questioned, hoping the woman would answer truthfully.

She seemed to hesitate for a moment and a similar flicker of concern crossed her face again, although this time it was for her own safety. "I knew him since just before he became a Jedi, when he was about nine, I think." She paused, waiting for Ahsoka to change the subject or press further. When she didn't, Padme continued. "Well, I shouldn't say that. I met him then, but we didn't see each other for a long while after that." Ahsoka nodded. This was definitely going to be a juicy conversation later.

"What about you, how did you become his Padawan?" She was pretty clearly trying to change the subject but Ahsoka didn't pry, only following her through the halls as they spoke. She definitely wasn't going to remember this route later.

"The council assigned me to him, on Christophsis. He didn't want me, actually." Ahsoka did her best to hide the shame in her voice and did well enough that Padme didn't say anything, if she could tell the nature of her comment. "But then I saved his life and he decided I was worth keeping around," She joked.

Padme chuckled at her antics. "I'm sure there was more than that. What kind of things do you like to do?" This was some lengthy small talk, Ahsoka decided. She had barely asked the senator any questions. That'd have to change next time they saw each together (If they ever did, Ahsoka thought grimly)

"The temple doesn't offer much for electives, but I do some art when I can, and I really like mechanics," The girl supplied.

Padme laughed at her own joke before it left her mouth. "Ah, now that's why Anakin kept you around. No one else will geek with him about mechanics." Ahsoka couldn't help but laugh as they approached her and Anakin's quarters on the Resolute. Hers being just a door down.

They stood awkwardly in the middle of the hall as the two said their goodbyes. "Well, Padme, it was great meeting you."

The woman nodded her head lovingly towards her. "Same here. I hope to see you soon. Next time maybe under more peaceful circumstances." They both knew it was unlikely, during war, but Ahsoka went along with it.

"Oh, and thank you for showing me the way. It'll take me a while to learn the layout of this big thing," She joked.

"No problem. Goodbye, Ahsoka," She told the girl as she walked towards where they came from, landing a few doors down, where Ahsoka assumed she was staying until they could get her where she was supposed to be.

Well, now it was time to think about every word the two had said and try to come up with a plausible theory of how her master was connected to this senator.

Yoooo I did it! Hope you enjoyed. Two in one day, my word, that hasn't happened in a LONG while.

I hope you eat yummy food and the weather makes you happy.
