A series following Ahsoka during her time at the Jedi temple. Basically just family fluff and hurt/comfort. Her training goes beyond the field, showing the behind the scenes of her life, cute family stories, the sort of lessons Anakin might have tau...
Another aftermath one that was never done, I think this'll come out good, if not sad. I've read one other one that I absolutely ADORED called Zygerria: In Chains Of Blue, from a book called The War She Didn't Sign Up For. Includes mature themes, but I really loved it and I think you should check it out. All that being said, this won't be exactly like that story, but it will have a few parallels and I wanted to make sure I didn't steal credit.
And I know I promised a happy one, it really is coming. Don't give up on me yet lol, I just have an easier time writing the sad ones. I even have a draft of it, 400 something words now, I promise it'll come eventually.
Oh, and we're gonna switch it up and have Rex comfort her. I think the last time I really involved Rex was in Panic Attack, which was... a long time ago haha
Trigger warning for topics of rape, panic attacks, and PTSD
Enjoy :)
They kind of thought that she'd just be... Okay, after all that. That she could go back to normal life when the mission was over. But they hadn't seen him. The way he undressed her with his eyes, the cold, grinning glares she had gotten, the nicknames she didn't care to repeat, just thinking about Atai Molec made her want to vomit. Sure, he hadn't actually done anything to her, but he was so close, so close to further ruining her life and scarring her already broken brain.
She sat on the cold metal floor of the ship, as she often did. Ahsoka was usually too short to reach the support beams anyway, and sitting was the only way for her to stay steady unless she straight up hung off of Rex's arm the whole time, which she certainly had done, but it wasn't all that comfortable to smash her face into his armor every time the ship moved.
She had been given the luxury of a cloak Anakin had found on the ship for her, tired of being exposed to the world. The dress was worn and torn and had holes in it anyway, and she didn't want the wrong seam to rip in front of everyone. That outfit would go straight in the trash when she got back; she didn't care how much it cost, if she kept it it might just give her nightmares.
"You okay little'un? You haven't spoken much since we left." Rex said to her, turning in her direction. "That man didn't take advantage of you or anything, right?" He said cautiously, leaning a little closer.
"No, he didn't touch me." She said reassuringly. "I'm okay, really." Ahsoka gave a smile in the hopes he'd leave her alone. She loved him, he was her brother, but she didn't need him poking around in her head right now. She just needed a break, a breather. The mission was exhausting. He nodded, mostly convinced, and turned back to face the other men. When she got off the ship she was greeted by Anakin who had last minute taken a different transport back, leaving her with Rex.
"Hey Snips, good to be back?"
"Ya, gives me a chance to burn this dress," Ahsoka told him, half smiling at her little tease. Anakin did the same, leading them back up the temple steps.
"We have to report to the council, but why don't you go change first? Sorry your normal clothes kind of..." Anakin sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck.
"Got lost? Ya, I'm still blaming that on you," She joked, running down the halls to her room. "I'll meet you there!" When she reached her room she threw the the dress on the floor before she had time to find another set of clothes. She shivered as she opened her closet doors, opting for her normal leggings, but decided that she was cold without that cloak and threw on a sleeveless shirt she usually saved for training, and a jacket, compliments of Padme who said it looked too gorgeous on her not to get.
