Ahsoka One Shots

Cover Story

Three times Ahsoka covered for Anakin, and one time he covered for her. I've never done this kind of this but I thought it'd be fun to try. Side note- Ahsoka covers for Anakin when he's with Padme, but when Anakin covers for Ahsoka we're gonna make it literally have nothing to do with a ship. I would do Nyxsoka but it doesn't really work? Idk. I just wanted to write, okay?

"Ahsoka, I need to ask you a favor," Her master started, walking into her room through the already open door. She was lounging on her bed with a holo-pad in her hands, probably scrolling through some social media platform. She immediately came to attention, not wanting to upset her new master. It had barely been two months of apprenticeship.

"I'm almost afraid, but go ahead."

"I need you to cover for me tonight."

Ahsoka stared at Anakin, one eyebrow raised in apprehension. "Visiting a certain Senator?" She joked. He looked shocked to say the least, having never told her about their marriage.

"You- you know?" He finally asked.

"Didn't take long to figure out. Go, but if we get caught I'm not taking the fall." She threw the holo-pad on her bed.

"I owe you one, Snips," Anakin finally responded.

He hesitantly knocked, silently praying she wouldn't freak out when he asked. Anakin entered at a faint, "come in," From the other side.

"Hey master, what's up?" She looked up from what seemed to be homework on her desk. She furrowed her brow at his nervous look.

He gripped one arm in hesitancy. "Can you cover for me?"

Ahsoka chuckled a little. "Ya, sure thing, why are you so nervous about it?"

Anakin pursed his lips slightly before sitting down on her bed. "Well, I'm gonna be gone for... Two days..." He said in such a low voice it was practically a whisper.

"Two days?" Ahsoka all but yelled. When she settled slightly she held her head in her hands and muttered, "Force give me patience or an untraceable blaster..."

"Padme offered for me to come on a weekend with her and I couldn't refuse, I'm so sorry Snips, I wouldn't have done this had it not been so last minute."

Ahsoka breathed out a heavy sigh. "Fine. But we make a game plan, and you're taking me to Dex's when we get back."

Ahsoka was laying in bed that night, exhausted from her latest session training some of the younglings, and all she wanted to do was sleep. That wish was not granted however, when her comm went off. Grumbling, she hit the button.

A whisper came from the device, along with a distinct sound of fabric against fabric and what seemed to be another voice she couldn't make out. She didn't want to think about what was happening on the other end. "Cover for me?" Asked the voice.

"Got it." She hit the button and her arm slumped back against the bed. "When will you ask Obi-Wan to cover for you?" She asked no one in particular.

It had been almost two hours since Ahsoka had said she was going to visit the clones. He was relieved to hear the front door open, releasing a sigh and going to greet, and question her.

"Master?" Came a small, but hopeful voice. "Can I ask you something?"

Anakin found Ahsoka at the front door, grabbing her discarded cloak. "Sure thing."

"Long story short, the boys are going to 79's and they offered to take me since I'm eighteen... Cover for me?" She asked, more out of amusement than actual concern over being caught. Anakin grinned before answering.

"Stay safe, don't drink too much, stay close to them at all times, and call me if you need a ride," Was his answer. "I do owe you after all."

"You'll still owe me after this, you'll just be down one favor to grant me. You're the best!" Ahsoka threw over her shoulder as she bolted out the door.

"If I drive you home and you hurl in my speeder, you're cleaning it!"

So... Kinda cute. I just wanted to get two out in a day, and it didn't turn out horrible, so I guess that's a win.
