*Matt's POV*
"Matt and Emily" once these words came out of Ms. Pharaoh's mouth I nearly fell out of my seat I spun around so fast. I was really excited to work with Emily. She might make English actually fun.
*Emily's POV*
Matt turned around with a smile ear to ear. "What book are we reading I asked to break the awkward smiling. "Romeo and Juliet" he stated still smiling. Great, I thought to myself. I was falling for him and now I have to read a romantic book with him. The next few weeks are either going to be really good, or the worst few weeks I have ever had. Ms. Pharaoh was going down the isles in the class handing out books to everyone. She finally reached me and Matt, gave us books, and assigned us a spot to sit. She sat us in the hallway. There were two other pairs already there. "Now don't make too much noise or I will move you down to the principals office." Ms. Pharaoh stated with a wink.
*Matt's POV*
"You first." I said to Emily cause I hate to read. "Noooooo Matt you go first." She said this in the cutest nagging voice I have ever heard so I couldn't turn her down. "Fine." I said. I started to read. Emily read along with her copy of the book. Then all I heard was this terrible screeching noise. Ms. Pharaoh came out in the hallway and yelled "Principals office! All of you!" Emily looked kind of terrified or shocked, I couldn't tell. But it was something, but it wasn't good. She had an expression that looked like it was her first time going to the principals office. And I'm pretty sure it was.
