*Emily's POV*
"We need to go find James" Matt said. I didn't want to ask questions so I just followed him through the crowd of high school students. Some laughing; others with a face of sympathy. We reached the parking lot and we started rushing to James' house. We finally reached it after a walk filled with silence. We knocked on the door and his mother opened it. She looked at us half thankful we showed up and half sorrowful we weren't there sooner. She gestured to the staircase. We ran up the stairs as knocked on a door I assumed was his. He opened it with his eyes all puffy and red. He looked so relieved to see us. I embraced him with a warm and loving hug. He let go and so did I. Then it was Matt's turn. We all sat in a circle. The silence was resounding. "So tell us what happened" I said grabbing his hand. "Well it started once you guys left...." He couldn't continue. He tried but he nearly drowned in his tears. "Shhhhhh it's ok" I whispered as I pulled him in for a hug. "No I can do this" he said pulling away and sighing reassuringly. "Ok" he started. I braced myself for the worst and so did Matt.
