•Chapter 25•

*Emily's POV*
I was worried about Matt. I went downstairs and smiled so much my cheeks started hurting. It was Matt. He was trying to cook and was failing miserably. "Oh, hey. I was going to surprise you, but you see how well that worked out" He said laughing. I laughed and went over to him. I helped him make the waffles he was attempting to make and when we were done, they weren't that bad. "Let's do something" Matt said. "Well when is that Magcon thing?" I asked. "It's on May 17" he said smiling. Today was May 10th. I still had to ask my mom but I'll tell her over the phone soon. "Do you want to go shopping?" I asked. "Oh.my.god, YASSSS" he said trying to sound basic. I laughed and cleaned the dishes we were using. I went upstairs and changed and Matt borrowed something of Jake's. Then I realized, we don't have our drivers licenses. I poked my head through Marissa's door and asked in my little girl voice "Can you drive me and Matt to the mall" with a pouty face. She looked and me then Jake. Jake just shrugged and she got up and grabbed her keys. We arrived at the mall and in less then 20 minutes Matt was being swarmed by girls. To be honest it kind of irritated me. We started to run to try and lose them. We kept running and eventually I lost Matt. I was walking looking for Matt then someone pulled me into a utility closet and shut the door scaring me half to death. I looked up an it was Matt. "How romantic" I said laughing. I looked around and saw mops and cleaning sprays. We stayed in there for about 5 minutes then left. Matt put on a hat to hide his face and we went to a bunch of different stores. I went into Forever 21 and bought some cute crop tops. Since we were going to California I bought some cute bikinis too. When I was trying everything on Matt stood outside the door and kept nagging me to get out. When I was changing into one of the bikinis he was. Being really annoying. I opened the door and said, "Do you like this one? Do you think it makes my butt look big?" I said a I was looking in the mirror at his reaction. It shut him up really fast but then he said, "You look perfect" I blushed and shut the door. I was sure that I bought that one. Then we went into Wet Seal and I bought some cute high waisted shorts. We then went into Zumiez and Matt bought some short sleeve shirts, Then into Hollister and Matt bought khakis and I bought a cute teal sweater. Then Melissa came and picked us up. Matt had to go home because it was already 8:00 p.m. and we had school tomorrow, so Marissa dropped Matt off at his house on the way. I hugged him goodbye and he thanked Marissa. This has by far been on if the most craz weekends of my life, but it was fun. This might sound crazy but I'm kind of happy I abandoned my old life. This one was so much better. I started to pack for California when I realised I still had to ask my mom. I picked up my phone and dialled her number. The phone rang and rang, then someone picked up, but it wasn't my mom.
