*Emily's POV*
I just stared at the grass. He couldn't love me, it's only been a week. You can't fall in love that fast. Could you? Was it like that with Matt too? Were we rushing it? "I'm with Matt" I told James. "I know but...but... I'm sorry Emily I didn't know what I was thinking" he said. "I just need to do something before I lose you completely" he continued. I looked at him confused. He isn't going to lose me. I'll still be here for him as a friend. I just won't be dating him. As I was getting deeper and deeper into my thoughts I was cut off by James smashing his lips against mine. James kissed me. I pushed away just as fast as James leaned in. "No!" I screamed at him. "I finally have Matt I can't lose him" then I felt two hands grab my waist and pull me backwards. I thought it was Matt. I turned around and hugged him. Then I pulled away, it wasn't Matt, it was the boy Amanda cheated on Matt with, Brice. I stumbled backwards. "What...what's going on?" I asked terrified. "Emily let's go" said James grabbing my hand. I started to follow him when someone grabbed James and pushed him to the ground. James passed out. "James!" I screamed. I stumbled back into The boy that pushed James. "I think I want some too, Jarod" said Brice. Jarod pushed me towards Brice. Brice caught me and started to kiss me. I screamed for Matt, "Mattttt!!!!!!" I needed him to save me. "Help me" I cried, "help" I got quieter and quieter choking on my tears. "What the hell?" Screamed Matt. He pulled Brice away from me and punched him in the face. Brice fell back onto the bleachers and passed out. Matt made his way over to Jarod but Jarod ran away. I saw Matt and ran over to him and hugged him. He embraced me and I felt safe in his arms. Then I heard Amanda, "Well, well, well" she said. "Two little love birds" she was crazy I thought to myself. "I wonder what the whole school thinks about you and Brice" she said showing a picture of Brice kissing me. "What should your ship name be? Bremily? Bricily?" I could tell Matt was getting mad. "Shut up Amanda" he said holding me tighter. "No, I think I like this game" she said laughing. "What happened to you?" Matt asked. "Reality happened to me" she snapped back. "Well tootles" she said. "Oh and Emily" she continued. "Stay away from Matt, or the whole school will know you as what you truly are, a slut" she said smiling and skipping away. I couldn't help but cry. Why me? Then I remembered "James" I said. We ran over to him. He was now awake and rubbing his head with him palms. "Let's just ditch today" said Matt. We all agreed and walked off campus. "So what are we going to do with Amanda?" I asked. " we won't have to deal with her long" Matt said, "magcon" At this word I smiled. It would be my escape. Thank god.
