*Emily's POV*
Ever since Matt kicked Taylor out of our room, Matt's been acting weird. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but I think something is wrong with him. I decided to ask him later in the day. I ignored it and we all headed to the Magcon event. I watched from backstage again. Then the event was over at around 3:30. Matt was in better mood and I liked it a lot. "Hey Beautiful" he said leaning in and kissing me. "Hey handsome" I replied laughing. "So when do you want to go to the carnival?" I asked. "Right now!" Matt exclaimed. "We have to get dinner first. I'm starving" said Jack G. "Chipotle!!!!!" Screamed Nash. "White girl" Taylor chimed in. We all laughed and started walking towards Chipotle. Matt picked me up and started running. "Stop!" I laughed. Then he ran to one of the girls that worked there and said, "This White girl needs CPR. Chipotle-Pulmonary Resuscitation!" He said laughing. "That was pretty clever" I heard Cameron say. Then we got our food and sat down. We finished eating around 5:00. "Ready to go to the carnival?" Asked Matt. "Let's go!" I said jumping on his back. Then we all took a short walk to the carnival. Once we got there Matt ran to the Zipper. I wasn't a real ride person and Matt wanted to take me on it. "I don't know Matt... I just..." I was cut off "It's going to be fine Emily, you have me" he said pulling me into the line. We got on and Nash did a salute sign, that didn't really help. Then the ride started. Matt started screaming and laughing. It actually was really fun. Then all of a sudden the ride stopped. We were up top and then we heard someone yell up to us. "We are having some technical difficulties. Please hang in and stay calm" I started to freak out but then Matt grabbed my hand. He was trying to be brave but I knew he was just as scared as I was. I didn't know how to pass the time is I leaned in and kissed him. While we were kissing the ride started again. We didn't notice until the door opened to our cart and we heard, "Woaahhhh get some!" I looked up. My eyes immediately locked with a familiar face. "No. No this can't be happening" I mumbled. Ryan, the boy I locked eyes with, looked like he just saw a ghost. Then he smirked that familiar, evil smirk. As Matt and I walked out of the cart I tried to walk past him without him seeing me, but then he grabbed my arm. "Emily" he said with a slur. "No. Matt he's drunk. He isn't that pleasant sober" I cried. Matt took me in for a hug. "Oh so I see you got a new boy toy" Ryan said while stumbling towards us. Then I felt a hand slap my cheek. I looked up and Ryan smirked at me. "You will look at me when I speak to you" he said. "Don't you lay another hand on her or so help me god" Matt said pushing me back and getting in Ryan's face. "I will see you again" said Ryan smirking at me. When these words surfaced Matt threw a punch. Then I ran. I didn't know exactly where to, but I ran. Then I found a bench and sat there, Drowning in memories I had locked up for my new life. The memories I hid deep, deep down inside in a box that was never be unsealed. They kept scratching against the walls of the box and I understood that eventually it would be demolished. And in that moment I knew, I wasn't angry, I wasn't sad, I was just scared.
