*Emily's POV*
The footstep speed progressed when I called out, "Matt!" They got faster and faster until I finally got a glimpse of him. "Get the hell off of her!" Screamed Matt as he pulled Danny away from me. Then Matt punched Danny right in the face. I knew it wasn't an appropriate time, but I laughed as looked over at Taylor who was now touching his nose where Matt hit him. Probably remembering how much it hurt. Then I heard more footsteps from the stairs. "Mom" I said hugging her. "What's going on?!?" She asked while pushing me away. "Matt stop it" she screamed as Matt threw another punch. "No you stop!" I screamed so loud that everything fell quiet. The fight stopped. The music stopped. And for a second, I felt like my heart stopped. "You stop, mom" I said in tears. "You deserve so much better. I understand that after you and dad" I hesitated trying to find words "split" I finally choked out "that you have been sort of desperate, but this...this is beyond desperate. What does he even do to benefit any of us? He's tearing this family apart. Isn't that why you left your first husband?" I didn't know how else to put it, that's exactly how I felt, and I didn't know that until I said it out loud. "You're not actually going to listen to her are you?" Said Danny approaching my mother. My mother hesitated for a while. Danny was about to say something when my mother finally spoke, "No I am" she said. Danny looked almost too shocked at these words. "Well I'm sorry you feel that way" Danny responded. "I need you to leave now" she said tossing Danny his keys. "You are making the wrong decision" Danny said hovering over the stairs. "No, I'm making the right one" my mother barely choked out. And with that, he left. Then my mother kissed me on my forehead and went down the stairs to the living room. The boys cheered as we all gathered back in my room. "Finally got rid of thy ass hat" Matt said laughing. Then we started making plans for our 'mission'. "So how should we do it?" Asked Jack J. "I've got a plan" replied Matt.
