•Chapter 30•

{Morning of trip to California}
I woke up to my alarm screaming at me to wake up. I looked at the time, it was 5:30 a.m. I needed to be at the airport by 7:00 a.m. I jumped out of the bed and ran to my bathroom. I had most of my things packed up but I left some out so I could use it this morning. I brushed my teeth and applied some light makeup. I decided that since I was going to be spending most of my day with Matt, I mine as well try to look nice, so I curled my hair. I realised after I curled my hair that I should have changed first. I put on a floral tank top and a mini skirt. I then changed into my white vans and packed up the last of my stuff. I headed to my kitchen to get something to eat when I got a text from Matt. It read, "On our way now. Be ready:)" I checked the time it was already 6:50 a.m. I grabbed my bags and said goodbye to Melissa. I walked out of the door and completely forgot about breakfast. I'll just get some at the airport I told myself. Matt's mom pulled up and I waved to Melissa one last time. Matt got out of the car and helped me with my bags. Then I got in. It was a fairly short drive to the airport considering there was some minor traffic. Matt hugged his mother who was tearing up. "I'm so proud of you" she said smiling. I got my bags and Matt got his then we walked in the airport. It was crowded. We found our way to security and they helped us where to go. We finally made it on the plane. We put our carry ons on the top shelf and sat in our seats. "You better get comfortable" Matt said "it's nearly a 6 hour ride" the hostesses went through safety procedures and then we took off. I laid my head on Matt's shoulder and he wrapped his arm around me. Within a few minutes I was asleep. I woke up just as we landed. We grabbed our things and got off the plane. "Matt!!!!!!" Screamed 8 other boys at once. This is going to be an interesting trip.
