Shepherd Sisters Arrive

"Ivy, Ivy, sweetheart. They all know that our house is going to be a little messy. We have newborns, for God's sake! Come on, sit down and hold Christopher. Maybe he'll calm you down," Jackson takes the toys out of Ivys hand and replaces them with their son.

"I know that, but this is our mothers and my sisters. Do you know how judgy my sisters and mother can be? Plus, Catherine is used to a clean house. I want to make sure everything goes perfect when they meet the twins," Ivy rants, sitting on the couch, tracing a finger over Christopher's cheek.

Jackson sits next to her with Alexus, "And it will, you just need to relax a little. We still have some time until all of their planes get here. So, just look at Chris and calm down."

She looks down at her baby boy and takes a breath, "You're right. But we need to leave the house by 12 to pick Amy up by 1 and then my mom and the rest of my sisters flight gets in at 1:30. And then your mom will get here at 1:45. We will have to take two cars, I'll drive my mom and sisters in the van, you drive your mom and the twins in your car, okay?"

He chuckles, "I know so we have an hour until we need to start getting us and the twins ready. You've been over this five times in the last 24 hours. So for now, just relax and look at your babies."

Ivy takes Alexus in her other arm and lays back against the couch, "Okay, then. While I'm relaxing, you can clean up the house. Oh, you also need to do dishes, fold laundry, and change the twins sheets. Have fun."

"I don't like how that turned on me."

"Well, I could always-"

"No, you focus on the twins and relaxing, I'll handle the rest. I love you."

Ivy, Jackson and the twins get to the airport and find Amy already waiting for them, "Amy! Hey, I'm sorry we're late but as soon as we were about to leave, Alexus decided to spit up all over herself and me. How are you? I've missed you!"

Amy laughs before hugging her sister, "Hey, you're fine. I'll tell you everything but first, let me see my niece and nephew! Oh, Ivy, they're adorable. Look at their little faces. Oh! Are they always this cute?"

Jackson chuckles, accepting Amelia's hug, "Yeah, Ivy likes to think it's from your side of the family and I like to think it's from mine."

"Well, Ivys usually right so I'm gonna have to agree with her. Can I hold one of them? Please?" Amelia pouts at Ivy.

"Sure. Here, you can hold Alexus. Since she's already spit up once in the last hour, you should be safe," Ivy jokes, handing her daughter to her sister.

"I told you," Ivy smiles at Jackson, picking Christopher up.

Amelia and the Avery family sit down to wait for the rest of the Shepherd girls flight to get in as well as Catherine's flight. Soon they hear a shout of.

"Ives!"

They look up to see Carolyn Shepherd and the rest of her daughters speed walking towards them. Immediately, Carolyn embraces Ivy, "Oh, Ivy. How are you? Mm-hmm, I see some of that baby weight is still there. Don't worry, Nancy has some tips to get rid of it, don't you Nancy?"

Nancy looks up from the baby in Amelia's arms, "Oh, of course. But don't worry, you look fine. And I'm sure your dress will look beautiful no matter what."

Ivy forces a smile, "Thanks, Nance. So, introductions real quick. Jackson, this is my mom Carolyn Shepherd, my sisters Nancy and Kathleen. And of course you remember Liz. Mom, Nancy, Katie, this is my fiancé, Dr. Jackson Avery. And then the twins. Amy is holding my daughter Alexus, and Jackson is holding our son Christopher."
