Title: Daddy's Little Girl
(I had an idea for this one but I scrapped it, thats why it took so long)
Y/n's POV
I'm 7 months pregnant. I told Jean I was craving chocolate but I'm not. It isn't for me though. It's for Jean's birthday surprise
Me and Jean were currently in the car. He insisted I stay home and let him get them but I wanted to come to. We get to the first store and we both get out. Jean puts his hand on my back as we walk in
It's for extra support or whatever
We walk through aisles until we get to the one where they store the candy. We look but it's not there. Jean begins looking behind bags as he tries to find some
"It's not here" I say.
"alright, we'll head to the one off of S/n(Street name) " Jean says as he grabs my hands
The thing I love about Jean is that he always puts others first. He thinks I've forgotten his birthday but he doesn't seem to care atleast openly. I've known Jean long enough to tell he's somewhat sad. It actually kind of hurts but it's for the surprise. I haven't told Jean the gender of the baby yet so that's part of the surprise as well.
We walk back to the car and head to the next store. I go to get out but Jean stops me
"It'll be quick, stay here" He says as he gets out of the car. I sigh as I watch him run into the store. I call Sasha
"Hello?" She asks
"Are you, Connie, and Marco ready?" I ask
"Yeah, Marco is heading over to your house now. Me and Connie are stationed on the next street" Sasha says
"Okay, oh he's coming back" I say as I watch Jean come back with chocolate
"Okay bye" She says
"Bye" I say as I hang up. Jean comes in and hands me the chocolates. We drive home and Marco is walking up to our front door. We both get out and Jean goes to meet Marco
"What are you doing here?" Jean asks as we both walk up to the steps
"Oh hello Jean, Y/n. I was wondering if I could borrow Jean for a couple hours?" Marco asks
"I'm s-" Jean begins but I cut him off
"Jean would love to" I say with a smile. Jean looks at me slightly hurt and confused
I'm so sorry but I have to
"Yeah, sure" Jean says with a smile to Marco.
"That's great" Marco says as he grabs Jean's hand
"Have fun!" I say as I watch them walk off and into Marco's car. They drive off and I call Sasha
"The coast is clear" I say. Their car appears and they get out with cake supplies
"Let's move" I say as I open the door. We all walk to the kitchen and begin making a cake
"So how's Jean doing?" Connie asks
"He seems okay to everyone else but he's been pretty hurt by my actions. I feel awful but I don't want to ruin the surprise" I say
"Does he think you forgot?" Sasha asks
"Yeah, he does" I say
"That just means we have to pull this off" Connie says with a smile. We get the batter all set up and place it in the oven
"Y/n you're on cake watching duty, me and Sasha will set up the house. Oh and make sure to call everyone over" Sasha says. I nod as the walk out. I pull out my phone and begin calling everyone. As time passes people come in and begin helping set up. I then got a text
Freckle Face: bad news, Jean is in a angry mood and demanded we went home, we're on our way now
Me: okay
I walk into the living room
"Guys they're coming home we gotta hurry this up" I say. They all begin working twice as fast. I head back to the kitchen and pull out the cake.
"Annie!" I yell. She walks in
"Can you do the writing for the icing?" I ask
"Sure" She says. I hand her the pink icing thingy mabob.
"Write Happy birthday, it's a girl" I say. She nods and begins writing that on the cake. I pull out a photo of the unborn baby. Mikasa comes in with a little birthday bag
"There are baby girl clothes in there" She says. I put the photo in there as well
"Do you guys think he'll like it?" I ask
"He'll love it" Mikasa says
"They're walking up the steps! Everyone hide" Eren yells as he turns off the lights. I grab the cake and we all get in place. It's pitch black. The door opens to a slightly agitated Jean and Marco. Marco turns on the lights and everyone yells
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" We all say. He looked slightly shocked as he stared at us all
"You remembered?" He asks
"Of course I remembered, I'm your wife idiot" I say with an irk mark on my forehead.
"You made chocolate cake, my favorite" He says
"Yeah what do you think?" I ask as I walk over so he can read it. He looks confused
"It's a girl?" He asks. Annie takes the cake and Mikasa hands me the little present. I hand it to Jean and he opens it. He pulls out a tiny onesie that says "Daddy's Little Girl" his eyes widen as he reads it. He looks at me as I smile at him. A wide grin appears on his face
"That's not all" I say. He reaches in and pulls out a photo from the ultrasound
"That's yours" I say. Tears stream down his face
"It's a girl... we're having a girl" He says as he hugs me. Everyone begins clapping as Eren laughs at Jean for crying. Mikasa smacked Eren and everyone laughed at him
"LET'S EAT CAKE!" Sasha yells. Eveyone begins eating cake including Jean. He offers me a piece but I deny. He sits next to me and rubs my stomach
"Only 2 more months" He says
"Only 2 more" I say
