Y/n's POV
"I just don't understand the issue" I said
"The issue is that I'm tired of Annie trying to get with you" Mikasa said
"She's not trying to get with me, clearly you're misunderstanding something" I said
"I'm not misunderstanding anything! I can clearly see she's into you!" Mikasa said raising her voice
"She is not into me! Quit being jealous!" I said raising my voice
"You're just ridiculously dense! God Y/n! It's so obvious and you're too blind to see it!" She yelled
"Or maybe you're looking in between the lines a little too hard. You're reaching Mikasa!" I yelled. She rolled her eyes
"Whatever, I'm tired of this, I'm leaving" Mikasa said. Out of nowhere my chest began hurting. She grabbed her stuff and began heading towards the front door. I felt like I couldn't breathe. I fell to the ground as I gasped for air. Tears streaming down my face as I struggled to breathe. Mikasa turned around and stared at me shocked
"Y/n?" She asked nervously as she started walking back over. My vision kept going in and out which really freaked me out
I'm going to die
I began sobbing as I struggled to figure out what was happening
Make it stop... I can't breathe..
Mikasa rushed over and sat down beside me as she put her hands on my shoulders
"Y/n? Y/n? What's wrong?" She asked scared
"Make... it stop..." I muttered in between sobs as I struggled to get air in my lungs
"Make what stop?" She asked frantically
"I can't... I can't breathe.." I cried out as I gasped for air. She put a hand on my face as she stared at me worriedly
"Take deep breaths" She said. I struggled to slow my breathing as tears continue to fall down my face
I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die
"Deep breaths, you're breathing is getting quicker" Mikasa said
"I'm... trying..." I cried out. My whole body was shaking
"Um... uh... listen to my breathing and copy it" She said. She slowly inhales and then exhales. I struggled to follow her
"You can do it" She said. She slowly inhales and exhales. I managed to do it. I continued shaking and sobbing. Mikasa slowly inhales and exhales again. I copy her as I struggle to get a grip on my surroundings. We continued this for a couple minutes and eventually I managed to get a grip. I could see clearly once more and my chest didn't feel like it was being crushed. I could breathe once more. Mikasa stood next to me the whole time. Her hand in mine. I felt exhausted
"Are you alright Y/n?" She asked nervously
"I-I think so..." I said still a little shaken by the whole thing. She then hugged me tightly
"You scared me" She said with tears in her eyes
"I'm sorry.." I said
"Don't.. apologize... it's not your fault" She said as she kissed my cheek
