Meanwhile, the gang were all inside the Hawkins' trailer as Yami was still sad about how Yugi's soul had been taken by the Seal of Orichalcos.

"So they wanna rule the world. We've dealt with that before." Joey rolled his eyes, as he reassured Yami a bit.

"No, Joey. This time, things are different." Yami sighed, to which Sora put her hand on his shoulder to comfort him as she knew how much he was hurting at the moment.

"Yeah, they're not just talking about wiping out our life on Earth. They're doing it!" Tristan ranted, as he agreed with Yami.

"But we know how to stop em." Joey declared firmly, which made the others confused.

"How?" Lea inquired.

"We gotta go straight to the source, and destroy that secret weapon of theirs." Joey answered, which shocked Tea.

"You mean... That weird monster zapper in the sky?"

"Unfortunately, that thing's after more than just monsters. It's using human souls to power itself up so it can wipe out the rest of us." Tristan sighed, which made Sora feel tense as she hoped to God that this wouldn't happen to either of her brothers, and Lea was thinking the same for Mokuba.

"Yeah and right now, that thing's got Yugi, so I don't know about you, but I'm not gonna stand here twiddling my thumbs, I'm gonna take action!" Joey stated firmly.

"Look, Joey." Tea began, before she stood up from the chair to face Joey.

"I wanna help Yugi too, but we can't just fight this thing by ourselves, we need help!"

"No, Tea." Rebecca shook her head, which caught Tea's attention.

"In case you forgot, those jerks broke down my grandpa's laboratory and destroyed all this research. And without any hard evidence, there's no way anyone's gonna believe our story." Rebecca sighed, as she was obviously exasperated.

"But we have proof, it's all down in those underwater ruins." Tea argued, as Rebecca got up from her couch and walked towards the gang with her laptop in hand.

"Whatever was there won't be of any help to us now. The ruins are gone, guys."

With what Rebecca said, she placed her laptop on the table and what appeared to be in the screen shocked everyone!

"Someone ruined the ruins?!" Tea asked in disbelief.

"They're one step ahead of us." Duke commented.

"No!" Sora exclaimed in protest.

Just then, Arthur was awake and so he called out to the gang with a smile on his face, "Don't give up so easily."

"Gramps, you're awake!" Rebecca exclaimed.

"Yeah, shouldn't you be resting?" Lea chimed in worriedly.

"I'll be fine. Anyway, who could sleep with you kids chit-chatting all day? Besides, I can help you find the information you need. You're right about looking into the ruins for answers." Arthur reassured the gang.

"So, did you discover anything more about these thugs?" Yami asked Arthur.

"Well, I can't be sure. But based on the inscriptions I found, there's a good chance these fellows are descendants of Atlantis. An ancient continent said to have disappeared into the ocean thousands of years ago, without a trace."

"Are you sure?" Tea asked.

"Professor, if your hunch is right, why would these people wanna destroy what was left of their ancestor's city?" Duke inquired.
