Ch. 24 Yugi's fall

After Yami had just lost the duel against Rafael, Rafael laughed triumphantly and taunted Yami who now appeared to have his eyes blank and was looking down, "Time for you to pay up, Pharaoh."

Then he walked towards him as he continued on, "The Seal of Orichalcos never leaves the field without taking something along for the ride, and this time, it's you. Then you have yourself to blame, cause you sealed your own fate when you played that card. Now your life force will awaken the great beast!"

With that, the Orichalcos began closing in on Yami like it was ready to steal his soul... much to Sora's heartbreak as she used both of her hands to cover her eyes because she couldn't bear to watch.

"Adios, Your Highness." Rafael taunted while Yami collapsed to the ground and he was passed out.

"Hey! You alright, pal?!" Joey called out to Yami worriedly.

"I doubt it." Weevil stated.

"Yeah, dido." Rex agreed with Weevil.

"This is nuts." Duke remarked.

"Come on, pal." Tristan breathed out, and Sora felt tears coming out of her eyes because she was in so much heartbreak to know that Yami may have lost his soul.

"Yugi, get up! Please, Yug!" Joey shouted out to Yami, as he hoped that the Seal didn't take his soul.

Rafael just snickered and took the Seal of Orichalcos card away from Yami's duel disk, then he also took the necklace that Rebecca gave back to him after he got it from Gurimo back when he dueled him days ago.

"You won't be needing these anymore." He taunted Yami proudly, and just then, a helicopter showed up and it appeared that Alister was riding it so he could bring Rafael back to Paradius. With that, Alister brought the ladder all the way down to Rafael so he could climb into it, and Rafael who appeared to be carrying Yami with one of his arms began climbing into the ladder just as the helicopter began flying away.

All of a sudden, when Sora noticed the helicopter flying away as well as she saw Rafael carrying Yami, she felt angry and held up her hand so she could try to hold back the helicopter from flying away and try to rescue Yami from their dirty hands. (A/N: Just like in The Rise of Skywalker when Rey tried using the Force to hold back the *wrong* ship that was capturing Chewie so she could try to rescue him.)

Inside the copter, Alister felt Sora using her powers to try to hold back the copter, but Alister couldn't let her do that so he tried all he could to try to fly away no matter how hard Sora was trying to hold him back.

'She really is like her brother!' Alister thought angrily as he hated Sora for trying to prevent him from flying away just like he hated Seto Kaiba for what Gozaburo did in the past.

Meanwhile, Sora was straining as hard as she could and she felt like she was about to drain while blood came out of her nose, but she couldn't let that happen because she knew that she couldn't let those biker guys take Yami from her. She could feel herself almost sweating but she couldn't give up no matter what the cost so she clenched her teeth with so much anger as she tried as hard as she could to bring the copter down, but then all of a sudden... blue lightning came out of her hand!!! As that happened, Sora quickly moved her hand away just before the lightning could reach the copter as she reacted with so much shock and horror after seeing what just came out of her hand. Even the gang were shocked to see/know that Sora had just possessed lightning powers, which was something they had never seen before since they always saw her using telekinetic powers. Even Rafael was shocked as well when he saw that happening, but then he knew that it didn't matter so he signaled for Alister to proceed flying the helicopter, to which Alister did so as he was also shocked to discover what he had just seen about Sora.
