Ch. 40 Alister's last goodbye

Alister was getting ready to go duel Kaiba, but he knew that this would be his last time if he wasn't careful, so he thought he should say goodbye to Rafael, Valon and Kylie before he would go. Believe it or not, they felt like his siblings after he had lost Mikey in the war for years.

As soon as Alister found the others, he saw that both Valon and Kylie were watching TV while Rafael was doing exercises. Then he called to them saying, "Guys..."

The couple along with Rafael turned their heads and saw Alister grabbing his duel disk, helmet, and motorcycle keys as he spoke, "I'm off to face Kaiba. Wish me luck."

Kylie quickly rushed over to Alister to hug him after she heard what he just said, to which Alister immediately hugged his now little sister figure back and kissed her head as she buried her head on his shoulder while saying, "Good luck, Alister. Be careful."

"I will, Kylie. Thank you." Alister replied softly, while both Rafael and Valon were surprised to see what was happening between Alister and Kylie.

Kylie smiled before she let go of him to which Alister smiled as he ruffled her hair, and Kylie giggled when she felt him do that.

With that, Alister approached Rafael and Valon so he could say his goodbye's to them. Rafael gave Alister a look which indicated for him to be careful, to which Alister sent Rafael a small smile before he turned to Valon. Then he sent Valon a glare and warned him threateningly, "If you ever hurt Kylie, you're gonna find yourself dead!"

Valon raised his hands up and let out a chuckle saying, "Whatever you say, mate. I won't hurt Kylie and she trusts me."

Alister grinned just before both he and Valon shook hands, then Valon grinned and told him, "Good luck, mate. Hope you get your Sheila back."

Alister nodded, "Thanks, Valon. I will."

With that, the biker gang gathered around to hug one last time before he would go duel. Kylie knew that this was the last time she was ever going to see Alister again, and she hoped that he would make it back safely. Since she and him started becoming friends, she would be devastated if his soul got taken.

The biker gang all held each other for as long as they could before Alister separated from them and went out the door as he grabbed his keys and helmet, then he looked at Valon, Kylie and Rafael one last time with a smile before he left.

'Good luck, Alister.' Kylie thought as her face looked sad, and Alister saw that look on her face so he sent her a reassuring smile before he came over to her and hugged her again. Kylie hugged him back as she nestled into his hair and her eyes were closed so softly and delicately, to which Alister grasped her shoulder and kissed her head before he moved his mouth to her ear and whispered to her, "Get Valon, Ky."

Kylie giggled and whispered back saying that she will, which Alister smiled and kissed her forehead one last time before he let go and went out the door. Kylie smiled softly as she watched him leave and thought that he was going to come back safe and sound for sure.

Suddenly Valon hugged her from behind and grinned at her asking, "So you two are no longer fighting?"

"Nope." Kylie shook her head while smiling, to which Valon smiled back as he spun her around and took her hand while he led her to the living room.

Alister on the other hand was riding his motorcycle with a determined look on his face, then he thought to himself, 'I will defeat Seto Kaiba, and get Dot back!'

Then his face softened as his thoughts suddenly went to Dot, 'Dot.... Hold on. We will be together again, just hold on.'

With that, he accelerated his speed as he was determined to avenge Mikey by defeating Kaiba in their rematch which would possibly be the last, and to get Dot back.
