Chapter 23

Chaeyoung POV

I just give Jihyo a bag full of tomatoes and strawberries assortments. She insisted me to give Mina personally but I declined. To protected my heart from being hurt, I must distance myself from Mina. I mean Miss Myoui. I was heading to meeting when my phone started ringing. I look up my phone to see Jihyo calling. I just sigh thinking what she want this time.

"Ye-." Jihyo cut me off.

"Chae! Chae!" I can hears her voice panic and sound hysterical.

"Hey hey. Calm down Jihyo. What's wrong?" I started panic after hear her voice.

"Come up immediately. Mina!" She said demanding.

Without thinking twice and another word, I quickly rushed to Mina office. I was so scared. Was if something happened to my baby? Is Mina okay? Oh god, please let them safe. I went inside Mina office without knocking and search for them.

"Mina? Jihyo?" I shout when I didn't see them.

"Chaeyoung. Over here." Jihyo shout inside the bathroom.

I rush to the voice come and see Jihyo and lifeless Mina on the floor. I kneeled in front of them and started to asked many question as I panic. Then, I can feel my cheek a bit hurt as Jihyo slap me hard.

"Shut up Chaeyoung!" She yell at me as I can't see the sweet and nice Jihyo anymore and replace by hulk version.

"Sorry." I squeak.

"Now listen. I already call Changbin and he's already waiting at parking lot. Now, help me to carry Mina and hurry." She said.

I hurry carry Mina in bridal style and rush to the lift. We used the private elevator leading to parking lot. I carefully laid Mina on the back seat and position her head on my lap. As we on the way to hospital I keep pray and hope nothing bad happen to the one I love. I keep caress her cheek and hold her hand. As we arrived, again I hurry carry her bridal style and once the staff see me carry Mina they rush to me and went to emergency room. I and Jihyo waiting outside and I started question her.

"What exactly happen Jihyo?" I asked sitting down feeling defeated.

"We were about to go to you when I heard she scream." She replied.

"Why were you want to go to me?" I asked curiously.

"She want to see you to apologise to you for her behaviour." She said.

"Why she didn't call? You can just call me to her office." I sigh.

"She really want to see you. So, she decide to go to you. And beside, you have been avoiding her for a week. How could she tell you?" She said.

"I shouldn't act childish. Maybe if I don't avoid her, this won't be happen. Maybe she's stress because of my action." I said defeated.

This is my fault. I shouldn't avoid her. Being pregnant and unstable hormone maybe make her over stress. What if something bad happen to my baby and Mina? I don't think I can't live with that.

"Hey, don't blame yourselves. You have done nothing wrong but you're right. You two shouldn't act childish and you guys should talk about your situation. Don't avoid each other. That's the right thing you two should do." She said side hugging me.

We waited patiently outside. Every time nurse walking or out from the room we stand up quickly and will asked them about Mina condition. But, they said we need to wait for doctor. Then, a doctor approaching us. We standing and meet the doctor halfway.

"Docs. How's my wife and my baby?" I blurted all sudden.

"Both you wife and baby are safe and okay. Don't worry." The doctor said make me relax.
