Chapter 39

Mina POV

Chaeyoung had been gone for a week now. I tried to contact her non stop but seem she already blocked my number. Jihyo on the other hand, still treating me like a shit while dad has been busy a lot lately. Haneul is with his grandparents and Miyoung being handful. While Bang Chan had been trying to talk to me, he had called and even come to my office but I told the security to never let him in. I also have to hired more security to my house as I don't want him to bother my family. I was so lost on my thought that I didn't notice Jihyo entering my office.

"Here are the papers that need your signature and remarks, maam." Jihyo said with so much politeness.

"Jihyo, please cut with all this politeness." I said getting tired.

"You're my boss here, maam. Its only right thing I address you with respect." She continue her demeanour.

"Jihyo. You're my sister. My best friend and my only friend." I said pleading to her.

"I forgotten I have a sister and best friend who cheats and play victim." She said with venom.

"I'm not playing victim here, I'm not waiting here to anyone pity me. I just want my sister and best friend back. I know what I'm done is beyond repair and unforgivable, but I was lost, overwhelmed with everything, with being a mom, a wife and a businesswoman and the guilty of keeping my marriage a secret is eating me up." I said crying.

"If it was to much for you Mina, you always have me Mina. I'm here always ready to hear and listen all your rants about life. I'm you sister for god sake. Even you don't think me as your sister you could just act like I'm your friend. You could curse, swore or shouted at me because you're tired but you choose to gone and sleep around and ruin your family." She said also crying.

"I know everything that I have done is bullshit and I can't and never justify nor defend myself. I know its all my fault not hearing and follow your advice from fall into Bang Chan's trap but you should believe me when I said I'm truly sorry for everything I had done." I said sobbing now.

"I can't right now Mina. I can't accept your apologise when I'm not the one you cheat on and the most hurting by your action. Maybe when all my emotions are settled I could find in my heart to forgive you. But for now, I just can't." She said walking to the door to go out but she stop before she completely out.

"And also, I hope the guilty ruining your perfect family and possibility of you kids having divorce parents lets you sleep at night. Good day maam." She said and went out.

She left me crying. She was right, I'm not only a cheater but also a home wrecker. I ruined my own family. The family that I work hard to build and now I'm losing the person who loved me for all my flaws and imperfection. I have to fix this and get my family back together. I have to get Chaeyoung back here as soon as possible. I need her, I need to see her, I need to talk to her and tell her I will do anything to get another chance to be together back. I know she needed time but I have to. I pick up my phone and called the person who started this problem.

"Hello Mina. Finally you called me." He said as soon as the call connected.

"Lets meet up." I said coldly.

"Sure. Anything and anytime for my lady." He said.

"Stop that crap. Meet me at *** in 30 minutes." I said and end the call without hearing his reply.

Making sure I'm look cold and ruthless, I exited my office and when to lift. I try to compose myself and think of only thing that matters, my family. I have been clearing my mind from all doubts, uncertainties and focus in making right decisions. Arrived at the place, I spotting a smiling person, the one who started all this, Bang Chan.

"Sweetheart, I miss you!" He said trying to kiss and hug me but I push him away and sat opposite him.

"Bang Chan lets skip all this bullshit and straight to the point." I said coldly.

"Do you remember this place where you said yes to be my girlfriend." He said smiling at the memory but I felt nothing.

"This was place you left me to face everything alone Bang Chan. Now, its also the place where I want everything to END!" I said deepening every words.

"What are you talking about sweetheart?" He trying to hold my hand but again I push him away.

"I want you out of my life Bang Chan. Get lost!" I said getting angry.

"Wh-what do you mean?" He said looking lost.

"I said, get hell out of my life, my city and my face. I don't want you anymore Bang Chan. I was just lost and longing and you used that as your advantages and pushing yourself to me. My life was better without you in the picture." I said coldness and angry.

"Mina, we had a good life together. We were together for 3 years. We had everything planned and we can still have that now. Its not to late for us to start again." He said with his hoping eyes.

"Had Bang Chan. We had. We had everything before but you were the one destroy everything. I loved you Bang Chan. I ready to go hardship with you as long as you stay with me but you didn't. You left me Bang Chan. You make me broken and even questioning if I was enough, if I was capable of being love. You're the one left not me. Its you who throw everything out. Not me!" I said raising my voice.

"And I'm back now. I'm back for good. I'm back for us. I want you Mina. I want us back." He said begging forcing to hold my hand and with tears in his eyes.

"I don't love you anymore Bang Chan. I already love someone else. We might have a problems now, but I will fight hard to get their love again. I will stay through everything for this person." I said feeling exhausted from all this emotion.

"But I love you Mina. So much. Please. For us." He said tightening his hold and with shed tears on his eyes.

"But I don't." I said pulling my hand off from him.

"Bang Chan, if you truly love me. Please. Let me go. Please let me be happy. And my happiness is with them. No you anymore. I really don't want to lose that person who always there for me, who always fight for me, who always accept me even with my flaws and imperfection. Please Bang Chan." I said gracefully stand from my chair and exited the restaurant without looking back.

I went back to work with a focused and clear mind. I know what I want and I want Chaeyoung to be mine again. I will do anything to be worthy again for her love. I decided to finish my work tonight so tomorrow I can start looking for my love of my life. I'm fully determined now more than ever to put everything back where it belongs. Its almost midnight, I have done everything and also have done called my kids to said goodnight and told them that their mommy will be home late. Miyoung as usual just gargling while Haneul keep telling me that he missed me and loves me and a lots of 'I love you' and gargling.

I picking my thing and going out from my private lift, I spotted a person entering the building. Its weird because its late and the building already close and only top employees have access to enter after office hours. Feeling scared and worried that burglar had access inside I immediately walk near to that person and I can see that he has broken arms. So, that mean I can fight them if they attempt to do something bad. Pushing myself to being brave I went to stop the person before they could enter employees elevator.

"Hey you!" I shouted making that person stop.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?" I said with harsh tone but that person didn't look my way.

"Hey! I said who are you??!!" I shouted then force the person to turn for me to see their face.

As they turn by forcing , I'm shocked.

"Chaeyoung??!"
