Chapter 7- Cal

I can't believe she likes me that way! I never... knew that she felt that way... It's almost surreal... I want to kiss her so badly in that moment, but I know... it's probably not a good idea... Though we are on the outskirts of town... it's a wide open area where anyone could see us, if there was anyone around &... it's best not to risk it...

She looks at me, smiling goofily & I laugh, raising 1 eyebrow in her direction. "What are you smiling about?"

She sighs, taking my hand slowly, her thumb moving gently over my hand & I blush & sigh. "Just how... surreal this is... how much I can't believe that you like me that way too... &..." She blushes & smiles down at our hands. "How much I want to kiss you..."

I feel my face redden & I clear my throat. "I... want to kiss you too..."

She chuckles nervously, head falling back as she does so. "Then why don't you?"

My face becomes serious suddenly & I frown. "You know why... People could see us..."

She chuckles, placing her hand on my shoulder. "Oh, come on, there's no one up here!"

I frown. "I know but... they could see us at a distance &..."

She looks up at me, a sly smile on her face & 1 eyebrow raised. "Then why don't we go back to my room?"
