I stare at my closet nervously as I get ready. Anwen helped me pick out my outfit the day before, but it still doesn't prevent the shaking of my hands as I get dressed & look in the mirror. Clean black jeans, a v-neck gray sweater & my gray converse. I soothe my hair down nervously before I hear the doorbell ring & rush to the door. Shreya smiles at me as she opens it & we wave goodbye to my family.
She wears a casual knee-length white dress with a black sash, hair up in a bun. I smirk slightly. She raises an eyebrow. "You look nice." I smile slightly & she chuckles. "Don't be nervous, you got this. What're you smirking at me about?"
I grin, laughing nervously. "No, just, you kinda look like a server at a restaurant or something..."
She chuckles, guiding me to the passenger seat beside her as she sits behind the steering wheel. "Hahaha, well, I am your chauffeur, so..."
I beam, chuckling. "Hahaha, yeah, I guess..." I gesture nervously to the black curtain blocking the view of the seats behind us. "What's with that?"
She raises an eyebrow & smirks. "Part of the chauffeur aesthetic..." I raise an eyebrow at her questioningly & she clears her throat, starting the car & driving nervously. "&... part of the surprise, if you must know..."
I chuckle. "I knew it! What's going on back there?"
She laughs, eyes on the road, deflecting my question. "It's a surprise, dummy. You'll just have to wait..."
I sigh. "Fine... I'll have you know that I'm dying from suspense though..."
She chuckles, turning back to the road ahead.

When we finally pull up at Helios' house, I beam, excitedly unbuckling my seatbelt. Shreya stops me momentarily, her face kinda serious. "Wait here..."
I nod, eyes curious. "Ok...?"
I hear another 1 of the car doors shut & my eyes widen as Helios steps around to greet me. He pulls the car door open for me, helping me up. "Monsieur..." He smiles amusingly & I giggle nervously. "Your night awaits..."
