Chapter 14- Cal

I look at her questioningly. "W-what?"

She nods, 1 eyebrow raised. "You heard me. The ocean or the forest. The ocean is full of merpeople & water Draconi like me, which.. are pretty accepting actually. We are more focused on being happy & surviving than on... breaking 'tradition' or whatever... I don't know if you could survive that though... You're a fire Draconi, so you'd never be able to use your powers underwater &... Nora's a human... I don't know if she could keep up with the pod... I mean... they would form an air bubble around each of your heads, so you'd be able to breathe &... if you could make it past the port... Nora's parents would never find you..."

I look at her, frowning slightly. "Ok... & the other option?"
She nods slowly. "The forest... make it to the forest on the edge of town, Nora's parents could never find you, nor would it be safe for them... A lot of humans have this misconception that mythical species are dangerous &... 'uncivilized' &... would hurt them if they got too close &... That forest is full of earth aligned creatures, like centaurs & elves... If you guys make it deep enough into the forest, Nora's parents would never find you, & you might find some friends among the species there. Most of them might be a little apprehensive around Nora, because she's a human, & humans have a history of hunting down mythical species... But once they realize how sweet she is, they'd probably be fine... & they'd be accepting of your guys' relationship... Same sex relationships are common, & I don't think they would mind it being interspecies once they realize Nora means no harm. You guys could build a cottage there... Or live in a town somewhere in the forest... Whatever you want to do... & be yourselves..."

I nod, smiling hopefully. "Wow... that sounds amazing... I'll have to talk to Nora about it, but... I really like that last 1..."

She smiles kindly. "Well, ok... Whatever you end up doing... Let me know & I can help you plan your escape... I... don't want you guys to get hurt..."

I smile warmly. "Thank you, Indie..."

Hope you guys liked this chapter :). I've been updating like crazy today, huh? :D I've just been... on a roll lately, not stuck in a writer's block anymore (yay). Whether what I'm writing is actually good is debatable, but at least I'm updating, I guess :'D. Welp, I'll see ya guys later, I guess. Bye! :D
