Chapter 95- Robin

I can't believe we had a whole conversation about Helios' butt just then... That was so awkward, but funny at the same time? It seemed hilarious in the moment, but now I'm just wondering if it was a joke for him, or if he was flirting? Like... for me, it started as a joke, but quickly turned into a ~subtle~ flirt... Like the kind where you can like... pass it off as joking, if the other person's not into it... But now I'm just wondering if he was into it, or he was just going along with the joke?

When we have Culinary again that afternoon, me & Helios aren't paired up together, but luckily I'm paired up with Shreya, so I get to tell her everything in a whispered rant by our kitchen. Now that I know that this is a crush to me, I gotta tell someone... & my friends are usually pretty good about keeping this kinda thing... Shreya's helped me with boy troubles before...

She gasps as I finish up my rant. "Oh my gosh, you guys said all that & you aren't together yet? Look at him?" She subtly gives him side eyes, which luckily, his group is too busy right now to notice. We're waiting for ours to cook in the oven, so we don't have to worry about that right now. I glare at her & she quickly looks back at me, keeping it discrete. "Don't you think he's hot?!" She whisper-yells.

I open & close my mouth nervously. "I mean, yes, but, like, what would I even say? 'We haven't been friends that long, but I think you're hot & I wasn't joking about the ass thing'?" Our other 2 group members look at us momentarily before going back to their phones. I laugh nervously. "It- made sense in context..." I turn back toward Shreya. [Lol :D]

She sighs. "Robin... If you really like this guy... You're gonna have to take a chance... I'm not saying... you have to... propose to him, or some shit..." I blush. "But, like, spend more time with him... Learn what he's like... figure out if you really like him that way... & flirt. Like your life depends on it."

I bite my lip nervously. "I do like him that way..."

She raises her eyebrows. "Well then- Get. Your. Man."

I blush. "H-he's not my anything yet... Not that it even matters, we don't know how he feels, & you know I'm bad at flirting..."

She laughs. "Atrocious, yes..." I give her a pout & she continues. "But that doesn't really matter... As long as you're giving some kinda signal that you like him that way & you don't come off as creepy or awkward, ya should be fine..."

I chuckle nervously. "That's putting a lotta faith in me, Shreya... I'm a socially awkward bean, you know that..."

She pats my head like a mother. "You can do it, my sweet baby boy... Spread your wings-"

I grin slightly. "-A bit cliché, but I get the idea... I'll- I'll try..."

She smiles, giving me a 1 armed hug. "That's good enough! Good luck."

Oof, it about to be awkward for Robin, lol :D. He really needs that luck XD
