Amery & Ryouta, & Cal & Nora go on to get married, which is allowed now since Amery became Chieftain. Cal & Nora's wedding happens on their secret hill 3 years later, & Amery & Ryouta's happens in the forest during springtime 6 years later. Cal & Nora go on to live in the forest with their herd, finding the forest life more appealing to them, but visit once or twice a year, during holidays. They help raise Lark a little & eventually both couples get their own kids. & they live happily ever after, nevermore worried about who they are & who they love.
