Chapter 102- Helios

It isn't another 3 weeks before I ask Robin out on an actual date. I mean, we see each other at school, and we text sometimes, and we sometimes see each other on weekends, but... this is more formal. It's our 1st date... It feels... important somehow...

Luckily I have Robin's friends, my new friends', help. They know we're seeing each other now, after we told them. We didn't say we were explicitly dating, but that... we like each other & we're seeing where it goes. They're all so excited about it all, & it's with Shreya's help that I even get a good idea for the date.

The Monday of that week, I gather up my courage to finally ask Robin out on a date. Something private. Sweet. Not super flashy, but well appreciated. That afternoon, Robin stays to listen to my piano practice, and that's when I decide to ask him. I smile at him softly, taking a bit to gather the words, playing some love songs softly.

He smiles at me shyly, his face rosy & I turn to him slowly. I clear my throat nervously, slowly meeting his eyes. "Hey... I... was wondering... if you were ok with having a date on Friday? It would just be at my house, and you could tell your parents that we all were just hanging out... & we wouldn't be going out, we'd be staying in because I know how you like to avoid large groups of people on weekends to let your social battery recharge &..."

He smiles slowly, face reddening. "Yeah, I'd love to... I can't believe you put so much thought into it..."

I slowly move a piece of his hair gently out of his face, my hand staying there a moment. "Of course... I... really like you, Robin, you know that... I... want it to be special, though no spoilers, haha..."

He grins, eyes bright. "Ha, yeah... Is there anything in particular I should wear...?"

I smile slowly, eyes soft. "If you want to wear something... formal, that'd be ok..."

He nods, smiling slowly. "O-ok... & we're just staying inside the whole time, right?"

I grin, nodding. "Y-yeah... Is that ok?"

He beams, nodding enthusiastically, face reddening. "Y-yeah! Sounds great! What time should I come? Or... are you picking me up, or...?"

I smile sadly. "I'd love to pick you up, it would be much more romantic & courteous, but I'm afraid... your parents will catch on... Shreya's agreed to drive you there at 5, so your parents don't know where you're going & everything..."

He nods sadly before his face changes & he blushes. "W-wow... You've really thought all this out."

I grin, winking at him & he blushes even more. "Of course, love. You aren't out to your parents yet, & I respect that... I want to make sure you're safe..." [Aw :3]

He smiles slowly & my eyes soften at his rosy cheeks, kissing 1 of them slowly & watching them redden. "T-thanks, babe... You're the best..."

They're finally going on their 1st official date! & they're so cute together too :3 <3
