- Brittney -

The air crackles around me, orange sparks fly in the air. The flames singe my fur, and the smoke fills my lungs. I bend over, coughing, hacking. "Help!" I croak, "somebody help me!"

I spot blurry shapes flying above me. They call out to me, but I can't make out their words. I cough some more. "Help... somebody save me..." I try to shout, but my words catch in my throat.

- Ocean -

I speed towards the fire. Faster, faster, I think, she'll die if you don't save her.

I push myself, flying faster, faster than ever before. For once, my wings work like commanded, flying in sync one with another.

I form a floating cyclone, zooming towards the disaster, to save my friend, to save Brittney. My water follows me in a swirling dripping mass.

The flames purr at me, surprisingly beautiful for creatures of destruction. Such beauty, lying, deceiving, tricking, when it is really dying to kill. I release my water, in a poring rush, killing the fire, revealing the forest, charred and dead. Revealing Brittney, laying in the middle, covered in serious burns.

"Brittney!" I cry, flying down to her. I check her pulse. She's not breathing.
