- Ocean -

My new classroom. The room feels empty. All the eyes tun to me, making me remember my failed Biology class. Only four students other that me. Two of them are back and white like me, one is an orange tabby, and the last student is a Siamese.

The teacher enters the room right as the tardy bell rings. "Welcome, Ocean, my name is Mr. Tuxedo. Everyone, welcome Ocean, our new Weather." Mr. Tuxedo's name fits him. His black top and white belly make him look like a tuxedo.

"Ooo, Ocean, sit by me!" cries the Siamese.

I sit on her left, feeling completely awkward.

"I'm Esemais," she says, "you can call me May, though. That's what my friends call me."

"Um... I am your friend, and  don't call you that," says one of the black and white cats.

"My other friends call me that."

"You don't have any other friends."

"Esemais, Ned, please show kindness to your new classmate by not arguing," requests the teacher. He turns to me, " Sorry about that. Please share something about yourself, Ocean."

I hesitate. What do I say? I like swimming, but swimming isn't a very common hobby, they'll judge me, like my last class did.

"Don't worry, we won't judge you," Mr. Tux says, as if reading my mind.

I swallow my nervousness before saying, "I... I like swimming."
