2 WEEKS LATER
I sit quietly in the dark, excitedly waiting for Michael. He hasn't taken me out since the last time we went to the lake, but I understand he has to be careful and he can't make it a regular thing, or people will suspect something. I think this might be the last time that we do this...Over the last couple of weeks we've got closer and really got to know each other. I confide in him a lot, and I really feel like he's become my friend in here.
I hear my door slowly open and see Michael walk in. I smile and stand up, feeling the butterflies swarm around my stomach.
"Hey." He smiles and hands me his leather jacket.
"Do you only own one jacket?" I laugh softly.
"I'd look a bit weird walking through the building wearing a jacket and holding another in my hand." He smiles, watching me pull it on.
"True." I giggle.
His jacket instantly warms me up and his sweet cologne invades my nostrils. I like how big his jacket feels on me, and I especially like how his cologne lingers around me.
I adjust the jacket and as I look up, I see Michael check me out, but he flusters a little bit and diverts his eyes to something else in the room, trying to act like he wasn't just looking me up and down. He's probably hoping I didn't notice, but I did. I love it when he gets embarrassed like that.
"I'm ready." I smile slowly and run my hand through my hair.
He diverts his soft eyes back to me and shows his beautiful, bright smile. He checks if the coast is clear, and then I follow him out of my room, making sure I stay close to him.

The weather isn't great tonight. It's a bit windy and cloudy, so we can't see many stars, but that doesn't matter. I'm just enjoying being out in the open, away from that place and sitting next to Michael.
I turn my head to look at him. He looks cute with the blanket wrapped around him. He turns his head and the wind blows his curls as he looks into my eyes.
"Fancy a swim in the lake?" I smirk.
"No." His eyes go big and he laughs softly. "If you go jumping in the lake again, I'm getting in my car and leaving you here."
I giggle and shake my head.
"You wouldn't."
"I would."
"No, you wouldn't!" I laugh a little bit harder.
"No..." He chuckles. "But, I won't be jumping in after you this time. I know you can swim, so you can't go pulling that trick again."
"Ok. I'll think of something else we can do." I smirk.
"As long as it doesn't involve us getting wet."
