Amy inhales and exhales heavily as she looks at her reflection in the mirror. She places her hands on her lower back and frowns while she examines her wedding dress.

"I look like a beached whale."

"No, you don't. You look incredible and you're glowing." I said, disagreeing with her.

"The dress barely fits me. I swear I'm putting at least 5 pounds on a day. My body is constantly changing and I don't know how to feel about it."

"That's a good sign. It shows your baby is growing like it should be and it's healthy." I smile, trying to make her feel better. "You're literally growing a little human inside of you, Amy - that's incredible."

She smiles slowly and rubs her bump.

"Yeah, you're right, and it will be worth it in the end, but some days I just don't feel like myself."

"I'm sure that's normal and a lot of first time mom's go through the same thing. I think you look beautiful and Wesley will love you in anything you wear."

"I agree." Tiffany, the bridal stylist chimed in. "You look absolutely fantastic and how you're feeling is completely normal. And your body is bound to change throughout your pregnancy, which is why we have these appointments in order to make any alterations. Just remember that this is your last dress fitting, and in the next couple of weeks you're going to be married to the love of your life and then you'll be welcoming your first child to the world. How you are feeling now will pass. I felt the same way when I had my first child, but as soon as I had him, it was as if all of those feelings I had about myself disappeared - all my focus was on my baby from that point on and nothing else mattered."

Amy nods and shows a little smile, fighting back her tears.

"Thank you."

"No problem. We'll get this dress sorted for you and have you feeling like a princess. Everyone deserves to feel beautiful on their wedding day." Tiffany smiles and begins to take Amy's measurements.

While they talk and Tiffany does her thing, I zone out and stare out the shop window, watching cars drive past and people walk on by.

"Maya?"

I snap out of my trance, hearing Amy call my name.

"Yeah?"

"I asked if you could hand me my fan. I'm boiling up." She sighs and starts to fan herself with her hands.

"Oh, yeah, of course. Sorry." I quickly grab it for her and stand up to pass it to her.

"Thanks." She smiles. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm good." I smile.

"Did you want to try on your bridesmaid's dress one last time?"

"Oh, no, I think it's all good."

"You sure?"

"Yeah, I'm happy with it."

"Good. And you look amazing in it."

"Thanks." I laugh softly.

"I have a feeling the wedding will push Michael in to proposing to you." She smirks.

"Really?" I pull a face.

"Yeah! Seeing his best friend get married and seeing how beautiful you look in the bridesmaid dress will definitely give him wedding fever."

"I don't know..." I shake my head. "It would be a bit soon, wouldn't it?"

"To get married? No." She makes a face. "If you love him and you know he's the one you want to be with for the rest of your life, then why not?"
