"Mrs Weasley, we'll be fine," I reassure her as Ginny and I were preparing to floo to the Leaky Cauldron.
We'd been back at the burrow for nearly a week. We'd spent almost every minute since we arrived trying to convince Mrs Weasley that we would be safe, especially with the twin's shop just down the alley.
"What time will you be back?" She shifted from foot to foot in worry.
In all realism, Harry hadn't been too happy with me heading out with Ginny into what was known to be a Death Eater hotspot. Were we meant to be scared everytime our noses leave our front door?
"We'll be back by 9, Mum," Ginny complained. "There is going to 6 of us and Penny's older brother is meeting some friends in the same place. They'll all be of age to protect us."
Mrs Weasley paused for a moment before she reached up and offered us the pot of floo powder. Ginny moved forwards grabbing the powder before her mum could change her mind again.
"The Leaky Cauldron," Ginny called from the fireplace as she disappeared into the floo network.
My turn. My hand sunk into the pot, grasping onto the powder. A familiar sensation as I stepped into the fireplace. I released my grip on the powder as it shattered down to the floor, "The Leaky Cauldron."
My stomach swirled inwards as my sight flashed green for a moment before going black. Then I was spat out into the pub, a movement I took gracefully, with my many experiences of the transportation from working summers.
Ginny waved me over from the table she had claimed along with Penny. We were still waiting for Blaise, Luna and Draco.
"Hey Penny," I greeted her as I sunk in the bench opposite her and Ginny. "How has your Christmas break been so far?"
"It's alright. They're trying to induct Adrian into the Death Eaters. They've been at the house almost everyday since I got home," She sighs her eyes drifting over to Adrian, who was sat a few tables away with his friends.
Our conversation was interrupted as someone dropped onto the bench next to me, swinging his arm round my shoulder, "Hello, ladies."
"Blaise," I grinned, whacking his arm off my shoulder.
"Have you been approached to become a Death Eater yet?" Ginny asked Blaise, continuing from our previous conversation.
Blaise laughed. As if this was something to be joked about. "Mum refuses to join and they're mainly going through bloodlines at the moment," Blaise shrugged. "I've got no interest in joining either if it means turning on this one." Blaise ruffled my hair.
"Would you not!" I complained.
"Hey. Lot of Wrackspurts in this room," Luna smiled sitting next to Penny.
Penny looked around, "Can I see?"
Luna took off her glasses and passed them to Penny. The two had bonded over all sorts invisible and questionable origin animals. Penny put them on and looked around. Her eyes flickering to every person and every corner of the room, focusing particular on the mistletoe hanging from the ceiling.
"Move, Blaise."
The last of us had arrived. Draco leaned forward and kissed the back of my head resting his hands on my shoulders. Blaise sighed before he shuffled over. Draco nudged me so I would be in the middle of them, before he took the seat on the other side of me. "Hello," Draco finally greeted the others at the table.
"What about you mate?" Blaise leaned around me to look at Draco.
"What about me?" Draco sighed wrapping his arm around my waist.
