"Harry," I called after my brother's retreating figure as I rushed out from the transfiguration classroom spotting him walking past. I easily caught up and fell into step beside him.
"Don't you have a class?" He sighed.
"I just came out of transfiguration. We were turning tortoises into teapots and I can gladly say mine was quite good. McGonagall gave me 10 points for detail," I happily divulged the information.
"I really don't care. I have more important things on my mind." Harry answered continuing his route march down the corridor.
"Like what?"
"Dragons," Harry stated firmly.
"Dragons?"
"The first task is dragons."

The first task was dragons. Fire breathing dragons? Surely that wasn't allowed. This was a children's tournament. I really didn't want a roasted skewer for a brother.

Two older students came barrelling into us as the stormed past. "Rude!" I called after their retreating figures as my eyes zoomed in on the badges they wore. People started calling out 'Potter stinks' at every turn, which was rather annoying. I get Harry is the famous one but this school could remember there are two potters that go here.

"Cedric rules!" I kid called as he raced past. That was it not only were they shoving me and insulting me at the same time - I could cope with that. They were insulting my brother and to be honest he was annoying and moody at times but he was my brother, my brother who raised me, and I wasn't going to let anyone else make fun of him, which was my job. I placed my hand in my robe and snatched out my wand. Harry must have caught the action as he grabbed my hand, which was holding my wand, and lowered it to face the floor, "It's not worth it."

Harry dragged me abruptly to the right towards the courtyard but our path was blocked by two Hufflepuffs. "Like the badge?" The badge in question was a swirling in between a green and orange. One displaying my brother's face with the words 'potter stinks' and the other Cedric with words of support. I couldn't believe this and I thought Cedric was nice.

"Excuse us..." Harry prompted waiting to get through to the courtyard. When they didn't move he barged through dragging me behind him. "Wait here." He told me before making a beeline over to Cedric.

I watched Cedric sit up and walk away from his friend's with my brother. Cedric must have felt my glare as he turned around to look in my direction, sending a sporting smile at me. I simply crossed my arms, wand still firmly clenched in my hand, as I attempted to kill him with my stare.

Harry moved to walk away as Cedric spoke again as I moved over towards Harry as he made to exit a different way from the courtyard. I moved passed Cedric without acknowledging him but he grabbed my hand.

"Why are you mad at me?"
"I would think it was obvious," I gestured around us signalling at everyone who was wearing a badge. "I get that he's your competition but he is my brother. Which means, I am the only one who gets to make fun of him."
"I've asked them not to wear them!" Cedric argued with me as I turned to see Harry arguing with Ron.
"If they were your friends, they'd listen." Cedric appeared to open his mouth to rebuttal before I spoke again, "I have other things to do but you better fix this."

I moved away and I could hear Cedric telling his friends to take off the badges as I made my way over to Harry, who was walking back towards me and away from Ron. The first thing to catch my eye was the shadow refracting across the floor as I looked up into the tree. Through the branches I could see a cloaked figure, who swiftly dropped to the ground as I moved next to Harry. I shouldn't have been surprised as I took in the bleach blond hair and Slytherin uniform of Draco Malfoy, who else would climb a tree for a dramatic entrance.

I sped up my pace as I noticed Harry moved towards Malfoy, who looked pleased that whatever he said had hit a nerve. "I don't give a damn what you or your father thinks Malfoy. He's vile and cruel, and you're just pathetic."
"That's enough, Harry," I grabbed a hold of his arm yanking him back. Luckily, Harry didn't resist and let me pull him back with minimal effort.
