'Educational Decree No 24. No music is to be played during Study hours'
They didn't stop appearing. Filch would be up his ladder like a yo-yo. You saw him up the ladder more than on his own two feet.
'Educational Decree No 30. All Weasley Products will be banned immediately.'
I was first in line to assist with the underground distribution of Weasley Products. The twins had put me in charge of distribution within the Slytherin house.
'Educational Decree No 45. Proper dress & Decorum is to be maintained at all times'
There went wearing Draco's shirt at the weekends, even if we were still allowed to not wear our uniforms on those two days. Umbridge had singled me out in the corridor to chastise my outfit. Although Draco being a suck up to Umbridge was annoying it meant she tended to look the other way when we were too close for 'decorum'.
"Ginny, what's going on?" I asked as the crowds swooped us up as soon as left the Gryffindor common, after a meeting with the twins on popular products with each of our divisions. For some reason nosebleed nougats was the winner within Slytherin. It wasn't a coincidence that after a large order was placed my boyfriend and his friends that half the Gryffindor table had nosebleeds.
"One of the first years said something about another teacher fight," she shrugged as we pushed through till we reached the courtyard.
Filch was walking across the courtyard towards a shaking Professor Trelawney as I dragged Ginny towards my blond boyfriend, who was lounging in one of the window arches.
"Did I miss anything?" I asked.
"Only the first two trunks being chucked at her," Blaise smirked, while Draco grabbed my hand without looking away, as Filch dropped the third trunk unceremoniously at Trelawney's feet. A disruption by the main doors caused a group of Ravenclaws and Gryffindors to part revealing Umbridge, once again dressed in pink plaid like the rear end of a baboon.
The two met in the centre as Trelawney started to beg, "Six...Sixteen years I've lived and taught here. Hogwarts is my home. You can't do this."
"Actually, I can," Umbridge held up a sealed piece of parchment.
"It's barbaric. Where is she meant to go?" I complained in annoyance. I didn't have a home to go to either apart from Hogwarts, it isn't the same staying where you're unwanted or wanted but a burden.
"Anywhere apart from here," Draco grumbled.
"That's not nice, Draco," I hissed, hitting him on the arm.
He rubbed his arm, "It's not like she was a very good teacher."
Blaise nodded before adding, "If she'd used her inner eye to see the future, maybe she would have seen this coming."
I huffed turning back to look at Trelawney to thankfully see McGonagall had arrived and was soothing her while glaring daggers at Umbridge. I was so ready for another round between these two.
"Something you'd like to say, dear?" Umbridge spoke.
"Oh, there are several things I would like to say," McGonagall snapped.
The doors swung open revealing Dumbledore, swooping in to save the day as always. "Professor McGonagall, might I ask you to escort Sybil back inside?"
McGonagall started to lead her inside, "Sybil, dear. This way."
"Thank you," Trelawney sobbed as she shook his hands.
I watched in glee as Umbridge burned with fury, "Dumbledore, may I remind you that under the terms of Educational Decree Number 23, as enacted by the minister-"
