Potter's Shadow (Draco Malfoy)

Chapter 14

"Come on, Rosie" Harry said as he lifted me up into the cellar. 

I got to my feet and followed Harry to the stairs. 

"Stand here. Stay close to me and do not make a sound." Harry said before pulling the cloak over us. 

Carefully I made the first step up to Honeyduke's shop, watching my feet as I went. Harry stayed close behind not allowing too much space so the invisibility cloak covered us both at all times. About half way up the stairs a box toppled behind us causing me to speed up before someone came to investigate the noise. 

We slipped on to the shop floor and I noticed Neville sat with Seamus and Dean at the front door. I weaved my way through the students so to get out of the shop without being spotted. As I reached for the door I felt the cloak move slightly and I saw Harry steal Neville's lollipop as he was about to lick it. I elbowed Harry in the side while glaring at him so he gave it back. 

We appeared out on the street. It was still busy so I snuck into a quiet alleyway. 

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"Shrieking shack. Ron and Hermione should be there. " Harry answered. 

I re-entered into the streets and started making my way till I saw a sign for the shrieking shack and followed the path into the woods. 

"Shut your mouth Malfoy." I heard Ron speak as we entered a clearing in front of the shrieking shack.

"Oh, not very friendly." Malfoy teased. "Boys, I think it's time we teach Weasle-Bee how to respect his superiors."

Hermione chuckled, "Hope you don't mean yourself." She lifted her fists slightly clenched. 

"Behind the tree." Harry whispered. "Don't let them see you." 

"How dare you talk to me! You filthy little Mudblood!" Malfoy spoke angrily.

I snuck out of the cloak and over to the tree. I watched as a snowball started flying from where I left Harry under the invisibility cloak hitting Malfoy on the side of his face. 

"Who is there?"Malfoy shouted in our direction. 

I watch three more snowballs fly that way.

"Don't you stand there do something!" I heard Malfoy order presumably to either Crabbe or Nott who he was with.

Shrieking and yelling followed for a while before I saw Malfoy running up the slope by the tree I was hid behind. Not being able to control myself I launched a snowball at him. He quickly turned. I moved around the tree out of his view hoping he didn't see me. 

"Harry!" I heard Hermione laugh.

"Bloody hell, Harry. That was not funny. " Ron complained. 

"I snuck out too." I said as I dashed round the trip causing myself to slip on a root hidden beneath the snow. I slid down and nocked Harry of his feet. 

"I would say I'm sorry but I'm not." I laughed.

Harry glared at me before throwing snow over my head. 

"Come on you too." Hermione laughed as she started leading us back into town. 

Harry explained to them how we made it into town. While I nodded along occasionally adding little bits of information he forgot. 

 "Those weasels! Never told me about any Marauder's Map." Ron complained. 

"Harry isn't going to keep it. He's going to turn it over to Professor McGonagall." Hermione assured.  "Aren't you?"
