Once we were all ready and finished eating we all huddled around the fire place. Harry had lent me one of his cloaks to keep me warm and to blend in with in diagon alley.
Mrs Weasley grabbed a flower pot full of powder and offered it to Harry.
"You go first Harry." She spoke.
"But mum Harry has never traveled by flu powder before." Ron spoke.
"Flu powder?" Harry and I recite and look at each other confused.
"You go first then Ron so Harry and Rose can see how it is done." Molly said.
Ron spoke the words and dropped the powder and soon disappeared in a green blaze.
"See it's quite easy dear. You go." She said ushering Harry towards the flames.
Once Harry disappeared there was a huge commotion about what he said. Apparently he wasn't at diagon alley and that we would have to trust he finds his way back to us from where he landed.
"Rose do you want to go next?" Mrs Weasley spoke. I shook my head. If Harry can't do it there is no way I could.
"Can't I travel with one of you. Do I have to go on my own?" I spoke as I looked at the fireplace fear in my eyes.
"I'll take her mum." George spoke eager to rescue me.
"Okay. Rose just stand with George in the fire place and hold on to him tight."Mrs Weasley said as myself and George stepped into the fire place.
"Now don't let go Little Potter." George smirked. "Diagon Alley" He spoke and then suddenly dropped the flu powder as I quickly wrapped my arms around his waist.
Before I knew it we were in a pub my arms still tightly wrapped around George's waist as we stepped out of the fire place.
"You can let go now little Potter." He said so I removed my arms from his waist.
"You now my name is Rose right?" I asked.
"Of course." He responded as his eyes scanned the room before grabbing my hand and dragging me away from the fire place.
"Ron, Hermione." George spoke.
We stopped in front of Ron and a girl with wavy hair who looked very much like the girl in the photo album. Behind her stood two adults who looked very out of place being the only ones without cloaks.
"Where's Harry? I though he followed me." Ron asked.
"He said the wrong thing and we lost him." I hiccuped as the tears worked there way to reach my eyes.
"Don't worry little Potter. Your brother is a powerful wizard, he'll be here to get your stuff soon." George smiled and patted me on the head.
"Little Potter?" Hermione asked.
"Of course, you didn't know." Ron spoke. "This is Rose Potter. Harry's younger sister. It's her first year at Hogwarts" He spoke.
"Hi." I smiled.
"Hey Rose. I'm Hermione." She smiled.
"I know who you are." I smiled. "Harry told me all about you and Ron this summer."
"So why didn't he respond to our letters?" Hermione asked.
"Dobby took them." I answered.
"Dobby?" Ron asked.
"He's a house elf. What's a house elf?" I directed my question to George who had now been joined by Fred.
"An elf the works for pureblood families." He answered as Mr Weasley and Mrs Weasley walked over with Ginny in between.
