Potter's Shadow (Draco Malfoy)

Chapter 4

"10:58. Come on, Come on" Mr Weasley spoke. 

"The train will be leaving any moment." Mrs Weasley panicked. 

Last night Fred and George had told me all about the platform and how to get to it. They also explained Hogwarts and magic in more detail than Harry could. 

"Fred, George, Percy. You first." They ran through the wall simple."Rose you next." I simply nodded and ran for the platform making my way through. 

The platform was hustling but I quickly ran knowing I was late, following the three red heads rushing to the baggage cart. I quickly parked my trolley that had my trunk and pet cage on it. I stopped before grabbing my bag that I had put my uniform in so I wouldn't have to lug my trunk onto the train . I also took my pet out of its cage and placed it on my shoulder before going into the train. 

Yes, I got a pet. No Harry didn't get it for me neither did I get it for myself. Fred and George brought it for me when they left me at Ollivanders. They said it to be a sort of welcoming gift. They didn't get me an owl because they knew I could use Hedwig and they also knew that I wasn't going to like anything boring and muggle like so they got me a Pygmy Puff. How I didn't ask but they said they got me one for cheap. It was a girl and I named her Forgia (Fred and Georgia(George) put together). Yes I named it after the twins since they got it for me. She was perfect.

I made my way through the train and found Hermione sat in a booth on her own reading so I opened the door. 

"Do you mind if I sit here? You're really the only person I know." I asked. 

"Of course Rose. Where's Ron and Harry?" She asked. 

"I don't know we were running late so I ran onto the platform first and rushed to get on the train." I responded and she nodded. 

"Nice Pygmy Puff. They're rare you know." She spoke. 

"Fred and George got me her. She's called Forgia after them. What are you reading?" I asked.

"I was revising the basic charms and spells from last year. Want to learn some?" She asked. 

"Sure" I said removing my wand from my bag. 

"We'll start of with the basics. It's a swish and flick action and the words are..." She started.

"Wingardium Leviosa"  I spoke with the added hand movement pointing at the book Hermione was reading. It started floating in the air but I looked out the window to see Ron and Harry driving the car. "Oh my Gosh" I shouted losing concentration and dropping the book. 

Hermione and I watched Ron tried to pull Harry back into the car, the whole time I'm panicking that he'd fall. They soon got back in the car and carried on driving,or should I say flying. 

"They just can't do things by the book can they." Hermione muttered and I just nod in agreement. "Good charm work by the way. How did you know the words?" She asked. 

"Harry told me about the troll." I spoke. 

"Of course he did." Hermione mutters. "We should get into our robes we should be there shortly."

Hermione walked to the door locked it and pulled down the blind. We soon got dressed her into her Gryffindor robes and myself into the basic Hogwarts uniform. I will receive the tie and cloak of my house after the sorting. The sorting! Hermione unlocked the door and pulled up the blind now we were both dressed. 

"Hermione." I spoke.

"Yes..." 

"Harry won't be at my sorting ceremony will he." I asked.
