His Best Kept Secret.
Chapter 28

The sun began to fall behind the buildings, the light in the office starting to dim. You lay naked on top of a warm and hard body, your body rising and falling as you listen to him breathe.

Kirishima and you were laying on the couch, not saying a word as you both relaxed from the rounds of sex. Your heat has subsided exponentially, for now.

You felt his hand trace small circles over your bareback, causing goosebumps to rise to the surface. After the hours of silence, you finally spoke up.

"We can't tell anyone, " you breathed, feeling his touch pause on your back.

"Why?" you hear his voice rumble.

You lifted your head to look at him, realizing he had almost the same shade of red eyes as Bakugo. It made your heart clench.

"It's only been three months. Everyone will think I'm a whore, " you say, biting your lip. "I mean you were his best friend, and now you're with me? That wouldn't look good on your part either."

Kirishima scrunched his eyebrows together. "But I'm his alpha brother. It's my responsibility--"

You shushed him with a kiss. "Please, for me. Can we just keep quiet about this?" You pleaded, giving him puppy eyes.

His face softens and he kisses you deeply. "I can't get enough of your lips, " he murmured. "And okay, I'll keep my mouth shut. You'll be my little secret, " he whispers with a smile, poking your nose gently.

You give him a smile, laying your head back down on his chest while sighing in content. You hated to admit it, but mating with Kirishima felt just as good as with Bakugo. You felt complete when you thought you would have felt half empty. Maybe this was what the blood bond was for.

"Maybe it's time I take you home," Kirishima offers but was suddenly cut off by the villain alarm.

The both of you shot up, the sound and flashing lights ringing around you. "Shit, do you think it's another monster?"

You quickly began to dress, running into your closet to pull a new uniform. Banging on the door, you hear Sero's voice through the glass.

"Destiny! There's another monster down at the beach! I don't know where Kirishima is but we're ready to go!"

"T-thank you!" you call back, fastening your hero belt filled with your support gear.

Kirishima quickly got dressed, his mind seeming to zone out in thought.

You gave him a look. "Are you okay?"

As if snapping out of it, his eyes flash up to yours. "You should stay here. You're still in heat. As soon as we take down the monster I will come to get you," he says, slipping his mask over his face.

Shaking your head, you say, "no way. I'm coming. You're going to need all the help you can get." As you turn to use your quirk against the bookshelf Kirishima placed in front of the door, he grabs your hand.

"Y/N, listen to me. You are more vulnerable during your heat. Please, for me. Stay, " he gives you pleading eyes before moving the bookshelf and opening the door. "I'll be back!"

You watch him take off, feeling an unusual emotion creep up your spine. The last time someone you cared about went against one of these monsters, they fucking died.

"Damn it!" you curse, grabbing your mask and securing it before running out of your office.
