He still held the belt tight around my neck; he grabbed the back of my head by my hair and lifted me up the bed. My hands were desperately scratching at the leather that was chocking me slowly suffocating me. My vision got a bit blurry and I was gasping for air that wasn’t reaching my lungs.
“Where’s my money? I am sick of waiting for you to give me my goddamn money!” His alcohol reeking breath suffocated me more as it made contact with my nose.
“I-I don’t h-have mo-money…” I choked out with the little oxygen I had left.
“What do you mean you don’t have money?” He sneered in my ear tightening the belt around my neck.
Shit I can’t f*cking breath, I have barely any oxygen left in my lungs. My vision blurred more and my head began to spin.
“Oh my god! Stop!” My mom yelled from the doorframe of my room.
She rushed to me and tried to get him to let go off me. He did let go off me only to bitch slap her. I fell to my knees on the ground. My hand went to rub my neck softly as I was inhaling wildly. I couldn’t feel the damn oxygen enter my lungs.
I took a glance to my right and saw him beating my mom with my belt. I couldn’t watch him do that to her. So I slowly raised from the ground causing me to almost fall back down from my lack of oxygen, but I couldn’t watch this so I staggered to him and pushed his back.
“S-stop.” I forced the words to come out.
“Alexandra no!” My mom cried from the ground.
He turned to me and I tried to back away from him, but I fell to the ground due to me being unable to breathe.
He bent down and squeezed my neck. I clawed into his hand in attempt to pry it opened.
“You are such pest! I should have killed you when your whore of a mother told me she was knocked up.” He said with so much venom in his voice that I slightly trembled.
He brought his fist back and hit me in the eye so hard that it shut from how swollen it was. I bit back the tears, but couldn’t hold back the screams that escaped my mouth.
My screams are the only thing that can live free about me. I scream and they disappear in the air, but I can’t just disappear. I will always be here with this bastard until he kills me or my mother takes my sister and me away, but I will NOT leave them alone with him.
A small terrified scream rang through the air after mine. Jaiden stood at my door watching the scene before her with wide eyes and tear stained cheeks.
The bastard let go of my neck and turned around and slowly advanced to Jaiden like a predator. Jaiden was frozen in fear.
I don’t know how I did, but I yelled out to her to snap her out of her fear. “Jaiden! Run!”
I still couldn’t breathe properly, but I got a bit of oxygen in my lungs. I pushed up from the ground. I walked as quickly as my staggering steps allowed me since the room was still seemed like it was spinning. I helped my mom up and we both pushed him aside.
