“Explain.” Aliana said with crossed arms, leaned back on the chair.
Jason was stuffing his face with his ice-cream. Watch him get a brain freeze. I’m going to laugh so hard at him. Aliana’s ice-cream was sitting there in front of her barely touched. Jaiden and Andy glanced at each other before staring down at their ice-cream trying to ignore Aliana causing her to scowl at them. I leaned back in my seat eating my ice-cream slowly and silently as I watched the scene before me.
“Don’t make me repeat myself. Explain!” Aliana demanded them like a mother would.
The little I’ve known Aliana for, I have come to notice she acts like a not only an older sister for the Cohen boys, but also as a mother; even though Jason is just a year younger. She truly loves her brothers there isn’t a doubt about that.
Aliana is about 5’7 in height, long black hair, very dark grey eyes, and she was thin, but not too thin.
I still haven’t figured out where I’ve seen her. There’s a nagging at the back of my mind trying to remind me why she seemed familiar.
“Technically… you did repeat yourself.” Andy mumbled.
I almost spurted out the ice-cream that was in my mouth from him being stupid enough to be a smart mouth at a moment like this. Definitely something Jason would do. There’s no doubt he’s his brother’s brother.
“What did you just say Andy Clayton Cohen?” She scolded him.
“Nothing.” He mumbled under his breath.
“That’s what I thought.” She narrowed her eyes at him. “Now care to explain?”
Jaiden looked up from under her lashes and opened her mouth, but as usual Andy is the one to interrupt.
“It was my fault! I wasn’t feeling classes today so I took Jaiden with me. She didn’t want to, but I ended up convincing her. I’m the one to blame.” He lied smoothly.
I knew he was lying because of the way Jaiden stared at him wide eyed for taking all the blame. Plus considering I practically lie for a living, so it was actually pretty easy to see through his lie.
“I don’t care if you don’t want to be in class Andy! You have to go! And dragging poor Jai-” Aliana began reprimanding him, but Jaiden’s soft voice interrupted her.
“He’s lying.” Jaiden admitted.
“I’m sorry?” Aliana asked looking at her.
“I’m not!” Andy said at the same time as Alaina had spoken.
“It wasn’t his fault, it was mine.” Jaiden admitted looking down at the table.
“Jaiden don’t.” Andy whispered to her leaning closer to her.
“What do you mean?” Aliana asked.
“I-I wasn’t… I wasn’t feeling too well. I… had a horrible morning and I need space to cle-clear my head. Andy immediately said that he wanted to come with me. I didn’t wa-want him to get in trouble, but he insisted. He said he wouldn’t leave me alone, that he would be there for me.” She explained, lips trembling as she tried to hold back the tears.
