As soon as his eyes met mine he tensed. Then his gaze moved to my right and met Andy’s gaze, which made his soften a bit and relax.

He walked forward slamming the door behind him and walked up to us.

His eyes met mine, but they were completely emotionless which I haven’t seen on him.

“Andy we should go.” His deep voice broke the silence as he looked at Andy.

Andy gulped. “What happened?” Andy’s voice was shaky.

It surprised me. I mean I just met Andy a few hours ago and I could tell he was confident and didn’t really give much of shit about anything so this took me by surprise.

He glanced at me from the corner of his eye before answering Andy. “How about I take you out for ice cream and tell you everything?” He asked and Andy nodded in agreement, but his grey eyes were filled with pain.

He grabbed Andy’s hand and they began walking away.

“Jason wait!” I yelled after him.

He stopped in his tracks causing Andy to stop with him. His back was tense, he didn’t even turn around to spare me a glance, though Andy was looking right at me and he looked so broken.

Not as broken as I have seen Jaiden, but broken which made want to run up to him and hug him tightly.

“Go home Alex.” Jason said in such a cold tone that it sent shivers down my spine.

“You guys are going for ice cream, I’d like some.” I said shrugging.

Andy’s eyes lit up a bit causing a small smile to appear on my face.

“Alex it’s none of your business what we’re going to talk about.” Jason stated sounding a little angry.

“I didn’t say it was, but Andy is my friend and I wanna hang with him whether you like it or not.” I said before walking up to Andy grabbing his hand and leading him to my car causing him to drop Jason’s hand.

“You could join us if you’d like.” I called to him over my shoulder.

I heard him groan in frustration before I heard his footsteps behind me. I smirked and Andy smiled up at me. He ran to the open the back of the car and sat in the back seat. I walked around the front of the car and got in the driver’s side while Jason reluctantly got in shotgun.

I turned on the radio and ‘Old Time Rock n Roll’ by Bob Seger began playing. Old school, but I love this song.

I was about to start humming to it when I heard a soft murmur next to me. I turned to my right to see Jason looking out the window murmuring the lyrics to the song causing me to chuckle softly. He turned to look at me with a raised eye brow.

“Seger fan?” I asked looking to the road once again.
